Great place in summer for a family dayout . Outdoor swimming pool and kids play areas are great. Food is ok and not hugely expensive. You can come around for a beer too and make all those healthy people feel horrible. That is if you are a member.... But even if you are not, you can come for free with a member for the bar. There are sunbeds available too. I have taken one star out because the restaurant was super sluggishly slow! Btw. I was visiting as a member as the joining experience is so bad with DL that I haven't found the appetite to join up. Bad customer experience costs revenue....

Overpriced and service awful. Staff are below par, other than a few exceptions. Tennis coaches excellent. If tennis is your thing woth considering joining. Membership just ended thankfully.

I’m Glad I ended my Membership, the people that actually do any sort of fitness are nice but the Managers are bad mannered and Snobby, they think there important but only manage a Gym. Go across the road much happier environment

The facilities are great but they come with a cost. I chose to not subscribe due to the staff attitude who in his attempt to convince me to join started saying that I am obese and the only chance to lose some weight was by joining their club...

I enjoy this club and facilities. During my membership David Lloyd changed the scope of membership to allow access to other David Lloyd clubs without additional fees. This I have found good when travelling for work and also allows comparison between the clubs. For kings hill as my 'home' club it exceeds all of the other (6) David Lloyd's I have visited particularly on standards of cleanliness, locker rooms, and the swimming pool/spa facilities. The indoor pool is wide enough to accommodate lessons and usually 2-3 lanes dedicated to fitness swimming. This is not always the case at other David Lloyd's where sometimes the inside pools are pretty small. It is not inexpensive but the cost in parts drives me to visit and continue to exercise to justify the expense!
