Had a tour around the gym with Jake. Spent the whole half an hour showing me around and giving full insights to the club. Was very informative and you can tell he really loves working at this place. When discussing the membership options, he offered me a latte from the cafe which was a lovely touch. He was happy to go through the membership options, answer any questions I had and just an all round great guy. Happy to say I have signed up and can't wait to get started. Gemma was extremely informative and helpful when showing me round the club and all the different facilities on offer. Good selection of food at the restaurant. Receptionist are friendly and helpful especially Gerry . She always joyful and greeting me on arrival. Very nice atmosphere at the tennis session with Alex who always makes effort for matching abilities and we enjoy ourselves.
Publicly embarrassed by David Lloyds due to an admin error. No acknowledgement of this public accusation, and certainly no apology for the humiliation once we confronted them about the issue. PART 1 OF 4 Explanation Sept 23: Joined David Lloyds. Hire two lockers, paying for annual hire. Told at the time of payment we would get hire stickers. Never got hire stickers. We kept asking reception and each time “you don’t need a hire sticker, don’t worry, you’re on the system and we won’t do anything to your lockers” At one point they conducted a locker check, first time we experienced that during our time at the gym. Put a nice clear sign at the entrance of the changing room that they would be checking lockers on a certain date and any non-hired lockers with locks would be dealt with etc. On reading this on at least two occasions we asked, again, at front desk “is it okay we don’t have hire stickers? We don’t want our lockers being touched etc”. We were told once again we were on the system and it’s not a problem. Beginning of 2024: We decided to change the location of our hired lockers to another part of the changing room. On mentioning the idea to reception, they were completely receptive of the idea and immediately made changes in their yellow binder, writing next to our existing locker hires “please can these be changed to XX and XX with Hire stickers” see attached image we took of the binder in question, with the permission of the manager on duty. We duly moved our stuff and our locks to our new hired lockers. We never got the hire stickers they, for the second time, explicitly said they would put on our lockers. Fast forward to now, we come in as usual to the gym. Only to find our HIRED lockers with our locks removed later told clipped and disposed, with bright white printed notes on each, saying “please ask duty manager to access this locker. You cannot use lockers overnight without an annual hire” WE HAVE ANNUAL HIRE ON EACH LOCKER, and as mentioned above they made note of these locker numbers in their yellow binder.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello by reception, even though it was a very busy time during the day, they made us feel very welcome. We then had a tour with the lovely Georgie, she was very thorough and answered all our questions on the way round, she explained all of the classes and made me feel very comfortable, I haven't been to a gym in over 10 years but she made me feel excited about starting again. Thank you so much for your help Georgie, we are looking forward to our first class, swim and gym session next week!
Georgie was absolutely amazing. She spent a lot of time showing us the club and explaining everything. Atmosphere was amazing too. Gerry on reception was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with us. They are all so friendly when you go there and make you feel so welcome. Have now signed up and can't wait to get started.

Came in a day pass, was lovely. Eventhough it was raining i went in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Indoor jacuzzi is one of the best ive seen so far, gym was spacious and plenty to choose from. I just wish it wasn't so expensive
