I recently had the pleasure of speaking with James at David Lloyd Beckenham. He was incredibly helpful in providing me with information about the club's facilities and membership options. James was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly polite and patient, answering all my questions thoroughly. His friendly demeanor made me feel excited to begin my health journey at David Lloyd and I can't wait to try out the spa facilities. :-
It's been over a month that I'm chasing a query- customer service have failed to resolve it and are incompetent. Simply do not care about customer satisfaction and I will be cancelling my membership as soon as possible.nnComplete waste of money with the refurbishment happening as soon as I joined. They have also permanently closed the badminton courts which heavily influenced my decision to join.nnNow they are simply ignoring my emails and not responding. I will be escalating to head office and will take legal action as I am being over charged for membership.nnAbsolutely disgusting customer service. Would never recommend to anyone.
We visited as a guest for lunch and soft play. Great food served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Parking is nice and spacious with a good car valeting service on site.
Would give 0 stars if I could. You pay £150 a month for a makeshift gym on a tennis court and have to queue to use the machines due to reduced number of machines available during the renovation. No access to indoor pool and sauna which are also undergoing 6 month renovation. Any other gym is a better option. Unable to carry out PT exercises as a number of machines have been removed.
I have to say whilst I found the community and the atmosphere of this DL very appealing, for me, the facilities did not stack up. When it comes to paying nearly £200 per month + £130 joining fee + paying for the occasional group tennis lesson, you would expect the place to have a spa and more availability in popular tennis classes/club sessions.nnI am sure this place will be incredible when the new spa and courts comes along but I heard the price is going up by over £50 per month when it does.
