Fantastic range of fabrics - super helpful staff! Yes things do get changed about but they always communicate straight away. Unfortunately when you're dealing with so many different design components, dates for fittings can be held up with fabric delivery etc. I found the whole process very professional. The results are second to none and EVERYONE comments and asks where i got my blinds from!!

Horrible after sales service, don't use them. The fitter who also happens to be the owner of the shop fitted our rollers blinds wrong way round such that it rolled in instead of rolling out. I called in to the shop, the sales staff were very helpful and suggested fitter to be sent again to fix it. The same man aka the owner came in after few days and after examining the blinds said the blinds have been turned around by someone after they were initially fitted. According to him he didn't fit them wrong way. My wife was aghast and didn't know what to tell. We won't purposely do such a thing to harass anyone and if it was done by mistake we would admit it. But he insisted it was altered by someone after his initial fitting until he stepped out of the house. He did fix the blinds eventually but this behaviour is not acceptable. We pay to get quality product and quality service. He probably thinks the service is not that important. During both his visits he maintained pretty grumpy face. I was his repeat customer but that's it he has lost me now. Guys keep clear!!!
I have used David James Interiors twice now and have been really pleased both times. Everybody I have encountered has been very courteous and have been thoughtful with their approach in assisting me with dressing three windows in total. Communication has also been excellent. I am really pleased with the finished product fitted yesterday and expect to enjoy looking at my windows for many years to come. I would definitely use David James Interiors again.
AWFUL EXPERIENCE, most unhelpful. Chose curtains, David James came to measure and the following week we painted the room to match the curtains. After not hearing from David James we had to chase it up, only to be told the curtains were now discontinued! Surely they would have known this earlier? They are now refusing to give the measurements so we can’t get the fabric elsewhere as other places have it in stock despite it being the who created the problem! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Didn't turn up for a Saturday morning appointment that we'd had booked for 6 weeks. Called us after arrival due time to say was due to sickness and couldn't fit us in that day. Staff very rude on phone and we had to call them back twice over several hours to get a day/time out of them. Eventually the only appointment was 7:30 on Tuesday morning to which we accepted but was definitely not ideal. Fitter was friendly but staff and manager in office very aggressive and rude - you'd think they'd care about satisfying local customers. They left us without curtains in our bedroom for 3 days and would not offer any discount due to all the inconveniences. DO NOT USE.
Very knowledgeable staff! Helped me pick my fabric and made all the arrangements for delivery & installation. Great service and amazing designs, thank you Helen and co!
Very disappointed with the standard of service this shop has provided, when I complained about my curtains and pelmet not being how I wanted the owner came to have a look and walked out half way through me explaining what I had wanted. He even told me I would have to pay for them to be corrected. I will never go to them again.
Have used david james several times for various blinds and curtains, cannot fault the quality of their products and service and will certainly be using them again. Thank you to jamie and the team.
Good quality but are now too expensive. Three years ago I bought a curtain pole for just over £80 , now just over £190!
