My Family have been ordering from this chippy for many years, and the quality of food has always been incredible. Unfortunately the service recently has taken a turn and the staff have been quite rude on some occasions. Its very rare that orders have anything missing, but the staff refused to credit for the lost item and questioned on whether we had proof that the item was missing. We will not be returning and have found an alternative for our weekly order. Also I'd reccomend ordering online if you pick up, as the ques for walk-in customers can be a very long wait. Parking is also a nightmare due to location.
I had better chippy and fish from here and it’s changed a heck of a lot, the batter is uncooked, the chips are old. And the staff are just as bad, they don’t wear gloves or a net for their hair like they used too! And they handle the food with the same hands they used to touch money. This isn’t just the first time that this has happened.
A long wait outside, despite ordering almost an hour in advance. All the other same time orders, plus later ones came, collected and went, whilst I stood for 20 minutes in the rain. Good food, as always and pleasant staff, but additional requests on the order were ignored.
Unfortunately on my visit, their advanced ordering system, seems to be at the cost of people who visit in person . I was ignored for 10 minutes by the staff who were l completing pre ordered food orders or speaking to folk at the side window. No explanation or apology. Quite rude, but chips were nice!Food: 5/5

Brilliant chip shop had fish ready at home and I had my battered sausage also, so all I needed was a bag of chips. Brilliant service will definitely use again
Best chippy around brilliant food great friendly staff number one chippy for us even grandkids love it when they come too visit from down south 5 star and more
Legendary Rotherham chippy, and for good reason! Great value and best fish n chips for miles around.
