Absolutely useless went in for a checkup needed a filling ASAP as it wad close to the nerve and they said make an appointment on your way out. Wouldn't let me make an appointment and said we will do it. They made an appointment in 6 months time for another check up! Tried to call them for the past fortnight and the phone is always unavailable! I give up going somewhere else. I might get in touch with my bank over this, it's basically fraud at this point!
The dental treatment from Dr. Morris was fantastic, I'm normally really nervous when going for dental checkups/treatments. I've never had a dentist make me feel so at ease and reduce my nervousness. The payment plan is really helpful.nnThe only reason I have not given 5 stars is due to the administration. While the admin staff were very nice and polite, it took me longer than necessary to get payment plans set up and once set up I was repeatedly asked on providing further payment and had to reiterate on numerous occasions that I had a finance plan set up. Besides this, the experience was a good overall and I cannot thank Dr. Morris enough
I, personally, have never had an issue with the practice except for one thing which was resolved same day. I however do know other patients of the practice who have had nothing but issues - consistently cancelled appointments, unclear information provided, plans and promises to do better set in place whilst in practice only to be told they would no longer be following the plan once out of practice, complaint procedure found to be insufficient, amongst others. It really does seem it very much depends on which dentist you are assigned to depends on the level of service from the practice as a whole you will recieve.
I’ve not had the best experience here, but after raising issues with management things turned around. The original work carried out on my teeth was not great, I had 3 fillings done in August and I’ve already had to return several times to have them repaired.nnBut I’ve now been given a new dentist and he was brilliant. After almost 2 months of not being able to eat properly due to the work done I’m so happy it’s now sorted. He also made sure I was refunded the money I’d been charged for the repairs. I would give Ibraheem 5 stars!nnChanged my original rating from 1 star based on my overall experience.
I would not recommend Darwenside Dental Practice based on my experience. I signed up online and had an appointment booked, only for it to be cancelled the day before with no explanation. When I rang to rearrange, I was left on hold for 30 minutes, and when I finally got through, I was told I’d have to wait another month for an appointment.nnTo make things worse, they advertise 4:30 appointments, but apparently the dentist doesn’t want to work past 4pm – so why offer them at all?nnI then asked for a refund and was kept on hold for another 15 minutes, only to be told they couldn’t just refund my card directly and instead needed all of my card details again. I didn’t have them to hand, so the receptionist promised to call me back after 4:30 when I was home. No one ever called.nnThe following day I rang them again, only to be put on hold for 15 minutes before the call was ended. I had to ring back twice more 14 minutes and then 10 minutes on hold before someone finally called me back to sort things out.nnOverall, a frustrating and unprofessional experience – poor communication, excessive wait times, and little regard for patients’ time.
