What an amazing night for my sons birthday!nnThe club has had a full refurbishment and now looks amazing inside. With the cricket ground outside, it made for an amazing setting. Booking was easy and the bar manager contacted us well ahead of the event and went through drink requests and was always on hand to help. Someone was always around to let us in to set up and nothing ever seemed to be an issue, everyone was so helpful. We did our own catering, but their catering guy was there setting up for another event and was really friendly and gave us plenty of helpful pointers.nnOn the night, the bar staff were really friendly and really added to a great night. Ava, especially, was a great laugh and truly went above and beyond at the end of the night to help one of our friends. Thank you all so much for a fantastic night. This will be our go to venue for all our family do's in the future nnI wish I'd taken some pictures of the venue before because it is completely different than it was. I have added the artist drawing on their website, though, which is incredibly accurate even down to the colour chairs.
Nice venue for parties with enough free car parking.
Went here to watch my Granddaughter play cricket. There is a beautiful club house which is brand spanking new. There were lots of people there but they really need a bigger car park.
Attended 50th birthday party only for it to be shut down early. Manager Matt gave us no explanation as to why and hid in the back room for the rest of the evening, never seen such poor management. Spoiled what was otherwise a fantastic night, would not step foot in the bar again let alone book another event.
Lovely venue, recently attended a wedding reception here. Refurbished and looks like new on the inside. Free car parking available. Ground floor venue, therefore suitable for wheelchair users and those with disabilities. Toilets available. Two adjoining rooms with a partition divider. Each has a bar and seating for approx 100 guests. Also adequate space for a DJ next to the dancefloor.nPlease note that sat nav can direct you down cul de sacs and alleyways, therefore drive with caution as you enter the vicinity. A very good venue and suitable for a number of uses. Recommend a viewing to anyone looking for a room to hire in or around the Darwen area.
