This little boutique hotel is a gem! It’s not fancy, but our room was cute, clean and had everything we needed and was quiet with comfy beds for a good night’s rest. Location was amazing, literally a 2 minute walk to Paddington Station and in a very safe, affluent part of London. Our break fast was included, as we booked directly through the hotel and was excellent! A big shoutout to the hard-working ladies in the eating area! Highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed!
The room was spotless when I arrived, which helped me relax and feel at home. The space was small but perfect for me: it was exactly what I was looking for. The hotel and the neighbourhood are quiet and feel safe for this solo traveller and is so conveniently located near Hyde Park, grocery stores, restaurants, and Paddington Station where you can take direct trains to Picadilly Circus, Earls Court, Westminster, Heathrow and more. The free continental breakfast every morning was a lovely start to my day and the staff are so friendly and truly want to help take care of you while you're there. On my next trip to London, I would love to book here again.

Easy ro reach the hotel from Heathrow, with Heathrow or Elisabeth line. Stopped at Paddington and it took 5 minutes to the hotel. Very well located within a few minutes walking distance to Paddington Underground, Elisabeth line and Heathrow express. The hotel is located on a fairly busy street, but we didn't notice the traffic from the room. We had booked a room for 4 persons and get two bedrooms with a bathroom to share and with connecting door between the rooms. Very nice beds and soft pillows. Nice and helpful staff. Good breakfast, juice, coffe, tea, yoghurt, rosted bread, cheese, ham, apples, bananas and croissants. Can really recommend this hotel. Safety: Placed in a area that felt safe and calm.
We rent a double bed room and found it cozy, especially a bathroom with a big window. A kettle, tea, coffee for your self service. Pleasant and friendly receptionists. A standard English breakfast was included. It's situated next to underground station, Hyde park, 30 min walk to Buckingham palace. At the same time it's in a quiet quarter.
I travelled solo and stayed in a single room. Would consider booking this hotel again for my next visit to London. Room - Small but it had everything I needed. Building is not new but the interior was clean and tidy. Housekeeping was done every other day. There was a lift so it was convenient to move my bags. Service - Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast was included in my booking, which was a basic buffet with few options. Can't complain as London is never cheap. Location - Excellent! Just a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station, lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Neighbourhood is peaceful and made me feel safe. Hyde Park is just less than 10 minutes away. Try have a stroll in the morning!
We booked a family room for a Saturday night so we could visit the theatre. The Darlington is convieniently located within minutes of bus, tube and train stations which made life very easy, especially with a little one. Its also well located for access to Leicester square via tube. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing us all the information we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything that you need for a stay, including teas, coffee's and bottles of water in the room, and the WiFi worked perfectly which makes a change for hotel visits! Would highly recommend and would stay again for our next visit.

Good value for the money. Room was clean and the shower was HOT and roomy, unlike some other places I’d stayed on my journey. Continental breakfast was adequate and started the day well. The staff had a fan in my room as requested and the evening before I left I didn’t feel like going out for dinner so I asked the gentleman at the desk if I could purchase a yogurt and fruit which I knew they had because of the breakfasts and he graciously got me both at no charge so I could have a light dinner in my room. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in London.
