There was only one other table sat in but we waited an hour for our food. The food didn’t come out all at once and there were significant gaps in between. The guy behind the bar spent most of his time on his phone, there were no apologies for the wait. It’s on the pricier side and although the food is nice, for what you’re paying there is zero customer service.
Nice place and good foodbit pricey though. I had the curry. Let down by dirty walls in the public spaces and room. Rap music on repeat doesn’t match the vibe of this once beautiful Boutique inn and pub.
Bit of a mixed bag - restaurant quite chilly and despite only being three other tables, still took over 45 minutes for our food to be served. Kashmir lamb rogan josh was spectacular. Butter chicken was mediocre. Chips and burgers were good. Naan was clearly from Tesco !Food: 3/5
Omg this place was disappointing. We dined with friends night before the a flight and was hoping to start the holiday off with a bang, unfortunately it was more a blip. Our food came out separate despite ordering the same time, our friends had finished eating before ours arrived. I ordered Rogan Josh which tasted like dishwater with rice. The highlight of our evening was our friend emptied the contents of the salt shaker on her ham egg and chips which did give us something to laugh at. The proprietors never asked if we enjoyed our meals and were probably relieved when we paid in full, I left with that feeling my pants had been pulled down and the owners laughed at my weener.
Didn't stay, so couldn't rate the rooms. The food was amazing, and a lot of it. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. This is a stone's throw from the Silver carpark to the Airport. Vegetarian options: There is a small Vegan selection.
I arrived was Greeted and called madam Which I did not like Order food came out peri peri chicken Did not taste like peri peri sauce it was curry fined it ran by three mean as I did not see any women Room was ok tv very small Bed made me titch Bathroom tap drenched me and the bathroom floor and the water over shocked the sink also bathroom door handle very stiff payed 72 pound with no breakfast and customer that were stoping were banging doors most of the night definitely will not be stopping here again
Very bad smell. Very uncooperative personnel that states to be just bartenders. Including us 8 people left because of service, horrible smell and cleanliness Never againRooms: 1/5
Nicely decorated restaurant with a good selection of food, mainly curry which was very tasty. Annoyingly Sunday roast was still advertised on the wall but no longer on the menu. However pleasant atmosphere although the waiter insisted on calling everyone Dear! I did mean to mention that it's not how younger people address older people in the UK. Should address customers by Sir or Madam. Please note.
We were looking for somewhere for a late lunch and happened upon this pub, set on a busy road but surprisingly couldn’t hear any traffic once inside. They start serving from 14.00pm. We are glad to have found this pub, the food was very impressive. Tasty, good quality and a perfectly sized portion for each of us. The chips were the best I’ve had at a pub. There was a varied selection of meals to chose from; fish & chips, pie, curries, burgers, plus a choice of starters and desserts and kids options. It was a touch on the more expensive side compared to your average pub, the chicken tikka skewer dish was £15.95 and the FAT burger £17.95 + an extra £1 for cheese. A lime & soda was £3 and a shandy was £4.30. I wouldn’t knock a star off though due to the impressive taste of our meals. The host was friendly and greeted us with smiles and compliments. We will recommend to others and return if we are in the area again.
Went here for a meal b4 our flight , food was amazing, tastiest I've had in a long time. Staff were so helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely visit again. Parking: Quite a few spots, some on main road some around the side.
