This is our favorite ice cream place. A quaint, small business that sells ice cream direct from the dairy farm it's produced on. No frills but clean and cute, with some of the most delicious ice cream you will find. Friendly staff and a great picturesque setting / backdrop of a working farm and sprawling countryside. When flying in from out of the country to visit family, this is #1 on our kids list to hit. Visit 2-3 times a week when here. A delicious delight.
It was 32°C in the area over the weekend and I was desperate for ice cream . I ordered the caramel ice cream and it was incredible .It was very creamy , the texture was soft and the taste was extremely fresh . It was costly for ice cream , however it was definitely worth it and would return again for sure ! I have also bought and tried their products in shop such as the milkshake which you can buy for £1 and it was delicious, my go to milkshake . Recommend to anyone wanting to try some excellent dairy products.
Small shop on a working farm. But a great range of flavours to try - either enjoyed on the picnic benches provided or tubs to takeaway.
I think it's impossible to complain about small local honest business. Very friendly smiling kind staff, beautiful location, seating near small pond, nearby Lewis Carroll birthplace, very well accessible, lovely area around and most importantly, excellent dairy ice-cream. Only thing I didn't like was chocolate cone, which was more sweet than ice-cream and chocolate tasted plastic. But another one was perfect. I hope you extend one day your business, maybe show animals to kids, or at least give them a small look. Otherwise top! Thanks.
One of the best ice cream maker in our area!; the flavours are so delicious you cannot resist the salted caramel is a huge winner for us; as for the place itself...well...it was lot better before Covid happened, now it is just a small shop selling ice cream...no seating area available we had to eat our ice cream in the boiling hot car; they used to have nice benches at the side of the shop where the little pond is and you could look into the fields where the animals were kept...but due to virus it has been blocked; and you have to leave the details for NHS track and trace when you buy your ice cream...we will defo be back for more delicious goodness but the place has lots its charm...
One of the best ice creams I’ve had in this area! Good selection of flavours with some less common ones such as orange and mascarpone. I would highly recommend.
Excellent ice cream and a nice setting. There are tables and benches outside by the pond and you can see the horses in the field. Very close to Lewis Caroll's birthplace. I chose mascarpone with orange and lemon posset. Vegan options available - my partner had pink lemonade sorbet.
The ice cream is really nice and the young girl serving us was friendly. There's some benches to sit on but the view would be better if you could see the pond. It was overgrown. Nothing else there really. Asked if there was animals but told its a private farm so we cannot see the cows. My 2 year was disappointed. Overall, its okay. The ice cream was very nice but the experience was below my expectations. Like all my reviews though its based on my expectations, if you literally just want some ice cream then its great. If you want the farm shop experience for your toddler then you will not be satisfied.
