This park is so beautiful and is so good for dog walking, the amenities are a small kiosk selling tea and coffee, a small assortment of food and icecream and lollies.nA children's play park, bowls green, basketball area and a football pitch for local teams.nHas some amazing tree some over 100 years old and some wildlife of squirrels, foxes and birds.nOne small downfall is the litter people leave even though there are bins some people are too lazy to use them and if it wasn't for the local litter pickers the park would be in a right mess.
Nice place to walk the dog , play sports, playground and appreciate tall old trees . I think toilet can be used from key in kiosk . Partially fenced which allows us to take dog off lead in part of the park. Great place for kids football tournaments. Wooden carvings and cherry blossom in the spring
Not been in Dane Park for just over 3 months and going in today, I find that the Dog Poo Bag sign that was ripped off its post, is STILL lying in the same place...nCome on council, either replace it, or take the post down and get rid of the broken sign!
Clean park, nice ambient feeling, small cafe near children's park.nGreat for walking dogs, but be mindful that one side just goes straight on to the road. I use it now to run free activities GAMES FITNESS
A good park to visit & enjoy in the daytime. It has new tree stump carvings to view. The park supports the local community. The council try to keep it tidy & the locals use the facilities for sport. There is a children’s play area & a basket ball court. The Victorian fountain is attractive and looked after. Good for dog walking and jogging too. One of my favourite places in Margate.
