DPTA is North Yorkshires newest establishment for professional training in Musical Theatre. Offering unique classes in all aspects of theatre arts specifically designed to challenge and nurture students into becoming talented well-rounded, singers, dancers and actors. Classes and timetables are designed to replicate those of Londons most influential drama and theatre schools. DPTA offers Yorkshire students the same quality teaching, opportunities and challenges that excel students to succeed in achieving their individual dreams, in the same way as London’s most famous faculties, all in a safe, caring environment in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate.

Taught by qualified DBS checked tutors with over 40 years of theatre experience, DPTA’s training is of an exceptionally high standard. It offers examinations in BBO, Lamda and RSL, with scheduled visits from influential guest teachers currently working professionally in TV, Film, Broadway and London’s West End.
