Lovely gem of a bookshop/cafe hidden up a side street. I always feel like I am someplace other than Hawick when I visit here. One of my favourite places to have lunch.
Such a fabulous place, not to be missed if you're in Hawick. Lovely menu and some gorgeous cakes. Wonderful coffee menu too, thoroughly enjoyed a Turkish Coffee as well as the Arabic coffee.

The food here was home cooked style and really tasty. I did feel the staff weren't as friendly or inviting as they could have been on the day I visited though, felt I wasn't allowed to ask any questions!
Obviously a different experience than usual with covid going on, but the food and teas were lovely, the staff were polite and welcoming, and it's a lovely little place to go!
Ok food, ok portions, ok prices. Some vegan and GF options. The interior is nice and cosy.
