I didn't visit the shop before but I always shop online, I've been doing so regularly for over 4 years now, and it's always been a positive experience. Even when an issue happens only two times over the years they'd always be very quick to respond and resolve it easily. The best is that they sent me a package today which was a surprise as I didn't order anything that was a gift for Ramadan, full of nice products that we use in Ramadan. Palestinian dates, raisins and dried fruits. We were really touched as it's not a random gift that the shop throws into an order, it's something that was well thought about, which shows that it's a great retailer. Thank you Damasgate.

I ordered here for the first time. I am so happy. A very nice package was made. I am very happy, the order was specially packaged and delivered to my home very nicely. Thank you very much. I became a customer for the first time. I will always buy from you. I liked it very much, you are great. I would recommend it to everyone. I have looked at their comments before and there are very good articles and very bad ones. I ordered with fear, but my wonderful order came home. I recommend it to everyone. No customer care at all, no engagement no interest. Goods arrived poorly packed not helped by an incompetent courier and damaged so much so the cans seam compromised. Reported to shop and courier- both did not reply even when followed up. Will not use again. Suggest that you avoid on-line shopping with them and only do it in person.

I have shopped in Damas gate over the years, disappointed with their price rises. I bought a small/medium pineapple charged £2:50, other shops charge £1:50. No incentive to come back

I have shopped in Damas Gates for over 12 years and have always loved it, the food, the service, quality everything! it was one of my favourite shops however after my experience today I will not be returning ever again. I was served by a butcher in a baseball cap, he was so rude, purposely looking the other way while I was ordering from him, muttering under his breath while serving me and talking about me to his butcher friend. I don’t understand what his problem was with me? I found it upsetting and disrespectful. Hassan the head butcher is lovely and a true professional but this man is extremely rude.

Please stop hanging animals in the street. This is disgusting.

My favourite its eritrean ethiopian food

Love the fact all the products I bought there aren't sourced from big multinationals.
