A unique experience where Vio, is not only the owner but also the host and the chef. Vio will show you to your table, take the order and cook your food, and then have a chat and a laugh with you over coffee and dessert. The food is fantastic, our starters and mains were so fresh and tasty and the tiramisu was so fresh and delicious, one of the best we’ve had.
Fantastic food! The best carbonara I ever had in Ireland. It brought my memory back to my holiday in Rome from years ago. The prawn linguine was also delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves Italian food to try out this place.
Wonderful dinner and atmosphere....it was as if we were invited into the house of a great Italian chef. He personally took care of everything from getting us seated, serving us, and even helping the kids properly twirl their noodles ;- . His passion for his cooking was evident in every bite....everything we ordered went back as empty plates. Do NOT, miss the tiramisu...I cannot stress this enough; I have never had anything even close to this. The perfect mixing of layers and fluffy texture just melts in your mouth...simply amazing
We blindly walked in to the best restaurant in town! I knew we were in for a treat when the chef told us he cooks everything fresh and we would have to wait on the food. We were totally okay with that because what a treat to have fresh cooked food! Both of our meals were delicious. Our best meal in Ireland was at an Italian restaurant!
I was walking towards the Botanical gardens when I saw the colours of Italy hanging around in the street. Turns out it was an italian restaurant. I wasn't really hungry at the time so I did go to the gardens beforehand. On my way back I finally decided that I was hungry enough to grab a bite. And well, that was the right choice. When I entered the restaurant I heard a nice and warm welcome. I knew at this moment that it was going to be a great experience. The chef and owner of the restaurant is a great host, he knows how to entertain his customers and we had the leisure to talk and have a few laughs. I had the pleasure to talk with another customer of his as well which was really insightful and gave me tips for my trip in Ireland. He also offered me a glass of wine, and to a french person that means a lot. Now let's talk about the food, that's an important thing too right? I listened to the chef recommandations and had a pasta with onions, tomatoes, bacon, chilli, garlic oil, parsley with penne. Obviously with some parmigiano and a touch of black pepper on top. That dish is called "Amatriciana". The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delightful. It's actually one of the best, if not the best pasta dish I ever had. And I must say I had many! As a dessert there was no tiramisu on the day I went to this place, but the chef didn't let me go without a sweet touch. He prepared a special thing for me : a pain au chocolat with Chantilly cream. I had never tried that and I really liked it! The overall experience was amazing, it doesn't happen that often to meet such a tenant paired with great food. Most of the time you get one or the other. Today I had both, I will recommend this place to my friends if they ever visit Dublin and I recommend it now to you people reading this as well! It did add a great silver lining to my day and to my overall trip, I hope it will for you too! Enjoy and Buon appetito!
I really enjoyed eating in Dall'Italiano today. I called in for a quick bite and ended up having three courses! The tomato and basil soup was incredible and the prawn linguine was to die for. The tiarmasu is a must as well. Vio was an incredible host. Can't wait to make this one of my regulars in Dublin!
If you really want to have Authentic Italian food then its a must visit place. He treated us with special food along with very warming words. He explained us how it has been made and what is authentic Italian food.
Great experience, amazing Pasta and I loved the Tiramisu so yummy . Everything was so fresh and the ambience is just perfect with an awesome host. Must try restaurant to be honest. Would definitely come back here time and again!!!

I Recommend this italian restaurant 100% if you want to feel like at home. Vio The owner is a very nice and friendly person Who loves what he is doing. All The food is handmade and The ingredients are natural. The price is good for The quality and The quantity of food, I told to him That im a person Who eats a lot and he offered me instantly extra portion of The food I ordered which It was pasta with carbonara sauce and chicken. Later he offered me a Panini with a soup with vegetables which It was lovely as well. The Calamari was very good in general and The Tiramisu was amazing. He was talking to me like I would be his friend, very nice person and place. I Will comeback for sure
