"Welcome to the Dale End Cafe website, we are a Café & Coffee Shop in the heart of Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge.Set in the idyllic village of Coalbrookdale nestled in the Irobridge Gorge, beside the Dale Road which meanders past at a steady pace with views of foundry mews and a former garage, which is now open as a Hairdressers.Ok we may not have the stunning Ironbridge view or the Riverside location, but to us that isn't the be all and end all, what we don’t have in location we make up with charm and hospitality great food fantastic coffee and to top it all proper cafe banter.Add in our beautiful benched seating area, parasols, smiling faces and you know your on to a winner."

I visited this wonderful cafe on Saturday 15th of April. It had a lovely atmospher backed by very nice staff. I can vouch for the gomemade Vienese whirl as when I arrived the lady had just finished making them and they are rhe best I and my wife have had in ages. My grandaughter had the Biscof cake warmed and saved about it. We sat outside and the service was excelent my puppy even got a sausage. We will be comming her on a regular basis by faar the best cafe in town.
Breakfast in this place is fantastic, fair price and when i said i don't like beans and mushrooms they gave me an extra hash brown! Friendly staff, bit cold when we where there as they kept the door open for the 'rona i guess , bit over the top but each to his own , did not take away from the massive and well made breakfast tho top notch. Fantastic cakes too and the staff where lovely !
This was my first visit. The service and breakfast sandwich were really good. I ordered extra sausage for the dog but the lovely staff said he would get his own complimentary one. Happy dog, happy Mum. I think this is going to become a regular treat.
Great support to the local community during testing tines, always a smile to greet you and the food is beautiful every time, but as my wife will say the cakes are to drool for....added photos of Chocolate orange and a white chocolate and peanut butter, both were amazing with 4 layers of the softest sponge.
Visited here the last weekend in September. We tried to visit on Thursday but it was shut, despite google and their own facebook saying it was open. Staff were ok, polite and on first impression looked good. We wanted a breakfast but were informed they were only doing breakfast sandwiches, rather odd. Anyway we ordered one each and waited, and waited, and after more then 30 mins we were served. It wasn't busy so I could not understand the delay! Ate the sandwich and went back in to ask for a napkin and witnessed one of the staff dropping cooked food onto the work surface then putting it back into a sandwich, oh dear, basic food hygiene lacking. Sorry Dale End Cafe we will have to find somewhere else.
Can’t fault this. Full menu including breakfasts and pizzas. Friendly staff serving from a nice clean cafe. Tables outside and several parking spaces that is really useful around here.
Custom order your breakfast or have a fixed menu. Really friendly staff. Sit and watch the world go by or have a natter with friends. Great value for money. Vegetarian options: Vegan sausage
I am a bit confused at what has happened! We visit here approx 1-2 times a month on a saturday or sunday before a drive to Attingham park. Each and everytime we have had exceptional friendly professional service. Our most recent visit 31-09-22 at approx 11am was different and not as relaxed as normal. The owners instead of being their usual jolly selves seemed as if they were quite stressed which was a little uncomfortable and the poor waitresses did not seem themselves. The owners were also a little funny about the blue light card which was a first. The waiting time was very high but it was not exceptionally busy, about 10 people. I can only assume with the strange vibes they were short staffed. This will not put us off going again and the star rating is an average of all top class visits we have made previuously and this visit.
So far I have tried the breakfast many times, a panini, jacket potatoe and a few pizza and have been very impressed with it all. Great food served by lovely people and very good value for money. Also the coffee is fantastic! Review continued 6 months later: I can't stress enough how welcoming this place is. With regulars chatting away to each other and families coming for pizzas and lunch. It feels like a home from home. Plus the ever changing supply of cakes keeps me ever so keen!
We dont live local to Dale End Cafe. But we're made to feel like family, so that alone makes it worth being a regular. The friendliness, the banter, the food, and of course, Sharon's cakes are not to be missed. We love that everyone is so friendly, and joins in with each others conversations, whether your a regular or a first time visitor. Everyone is catered for. There can be a little wait if very busy, as they take lots of telephone orders too as well as walk ins. But the time soon flies by when your laughing with other customers, and every order, whether hot or cold, is cooked/made fresh. There is also Vegetarian options available. The cafe is also dog friendly, and many dogs drag their owners in for a doggy sausage. The owners and staff work non stop to accommodate customers. Everyone welcome. A lovely little gem. 5
