After a glorious walk around Cassiobury Park, in the sunshine, Daisy’s was the perfect oasis for a lovely lunch Bang Bang Halloumi and a seriously refreshing drink ginger shot. Despite being busy, the team was friendly and smiley. Thank You x
I recently visited Daisy’s in the park and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The cafe had an inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and comfortable seating. The service was top-notch - the server was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. As for the food, it was delicious! I highly recommend the burgers. Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe. The food and service were both excellent, and the atmosphere was nice. I would definitely go back again!
I was here for a work event. The food looked lovely, the coffee and hot chocolate were very good, hot and tasted great and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The work event was a success, so all in all, a great place to visit. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and lots of toilets facilities close by.
My first visit to the park for 20 years, when I used to take my kids up from London. I've always loved the park/facilities and today I bought my granddaughter for her first visit . Watford Council should be applauded for the investment into this wonderful space. Anyway onto the cafe, we arrived at the busiest time 1pm and there was a wait, but everything was so well laid out, with an entrance into the cafe and exit, I lucky managed to get a small table inside with my granddaughter by a window and whilst my wife queued I also secured a third chair from another nearby table. The staff saw, our small set up and as soon as another table became free, sprang into action to move another table next to us and give us more space. Onto the food, we had a children's pizza, which came with a organic apple jiuce and a good sized tub of strawberry ice cream yummy. An adult full sized pizza, portion of triple cooked chips,, a cafe latte and 500ml bottle of coke. The food was restaurant standard, and we paid £26. We so enjoyed our trip to Cassiobury and will he back soon hopefully next week!
This is a nice little cafe, the staff are very good. Gets very busy especially at the moment summer 2023while they are the only cafe in Casiobury. Little bit expensive which is why only 4 stars. Also, needs an outside covered area so dog walkers can sit in some shelter when it's raining. But that's only a personal opinion, doesn't detract from the quality
Pretty pricey for the sandwiches, should do an option without chips for a reduced cost. Toasties were nice but but took about 40 minutes to arrive. It was relatively busy but this still seems an awfully long time to wait for a sandwich and chipsFood: 3/5
Took the kids for some food - undercooked pizza base, oily chips low temp oil I suspect and chicken burgers dry and over cooked. Remember it being better - chef probably new.
One of the loveliest parks especially for kids the newly renovated paddle pools, fountains iss awesome. On a nice sunny day the kids will love this place. The bouncy castle was a nice addition and the play area is something that kids will not want to leave. The lovely cedaf of lebanon is also there. Nice place to spend a quality weekend on a sunny day with kids.
I started going to Daisy’s in the park when I got my puppy over a year ago. The staff are very friendly, helpful and so professional, all of them! I really enjoy going there in the morning get my coffee. Their breakfast and cakes are delicious, home-made with a wild variety to choose from. It gets busy over the weekend but they still put a smile on their face and try their best to get rid of the queue. For instance they’ll open the cafeteria downstairs whenever possible. They’re the only cafeteria in the park so weekends get very busy. I usually go around 10am at the weekend to skip the queue. They take cards only since Covid/lockdown which is the new norm in most places anyways. I actually find it reassuring to avoid spreading germs… Covid! They also have hand sanitiser and dog treats. Very generous! My dog loves them :-
Something for everyone, forest walks, canal and riverside, large childrens' play area, bouncy castles, pool, cafe with great food and most important of all, a miniature steam and diesel traction railway.
