A large party, we were asked for our menu choices well beforehand, but on the night we were were again asked for our choices. The waiting on staff tried their hardest but it seemed as though the kitchen was in chaos... And that caused the problems we experienced, delayed service, and the food was not upto the standard you would normally expect. What Italian restaurant doesn't have parmesan? The reason for 5 stars for Atmosphere was the group I was with, we were determined to have a great evening with great friends.
Wasn't the place for us. It might be for you, give it a try and see. When the wine comes in bottles with Morrisons on them, you don't need to ask where the wine comes from, but you do know how much they are charging for corkage. Well. Screw toppage.Food: 3/5

Pleasant staff ....... average food..... reasonable price
Went to an Elvis evening. Elvis, the starter and dessert was great, main course was OK. There was a long time between courses and the main course was cold and we sent it back to be warmed up a little. Other than that good fun and will go again.

We first went 11 years ago in the restaurants 2nd week of opening. This is our go to Italian restaurant, we have introduced our young family to the restaurant and our other family members. All of which love it, great food great price. And there is always a good story from the boss.
We went for a mowtown evening. Singer was fantastic. Food was superb and the peroni on tap was kept perfectly. I'd definitely recommend going here for Italian food the way it's went to be.
Da Vinci Ristorante is my preferred Italian restaurant in Coalville with it's cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. My last visit was our first since lockdown and surpassed anything that had gone before, it was like coming home after being away for a long time. On arrival the welcome was so special and nothing that we asked for was to much trouble. The all new menu was very exciting and it was difficult to make a decision but we all managed. The food was presented quickly and efficiently in a very friendly service, each dish that I ordered was cooked to perfection and the main course that I ordered was the best I have ever tasted, Marco exelled himself and I have always thought him to be the best chef in the area for Italian cuisine. I can't wait to go back if I am truthful.
