Pure excellence my favourite restaurant. 100% perfect every time eat here 3 / 4 times a month. Staff are fabulous the owner is a gent. The Borolo is very good and the wine list is not bad at all. The food is always consistent and tastes fabulous. Mario is my favourite person he is just brilliant he loves to joke with me the Mrs & my children We go just to see him.  Regards Mike and Lisa

Good Service but let down by food. The pizza bases were tough and chewy. Had lamb off the specials board which was very tasty but came without even a bit of garnish!  Ordered chips as extra making the meal very expensive. Haven't been for over 25 years and I was really looking forward.  Traveled from near Leeds for a special occasion but nothing to go back for. I'll stick to the local ones around here, much better value for money, you get veg and potatoes/salad included.

Ah well......  this place is a favorite of mine/ours. Great friendly service, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. We've just been last night for New Years and it was epic. Fun had by all. Everyone made an effort dress wise with a great time had by all classic Italian

We were invited here to celebrate a birthday and were thoroughly delighted with the food options and the very friendly staff. Whilst it was very busy, service was good and thankfully the table had been booked beforehand.
The waiters were very accommodating and helpful when making our choices and overheard us discussing the birthday and then surprised us with a sparkler and drink for the birthday boy.....how thoughtful!
We have eaten here before and will definitely come back.

Food below par and very overpriced. Pizza base tough, chewy and slightly burnt, and toppings were bland. Lasagne had very little substance and was drowning in bland, burnt cheese. Poor service from specific, unhelpful staff (the ones who served other people seemed better). Toilet cleaning schedule not filled in, suggesting no cleaners have been in for hours/days. Ultimately, the restaurant is designed to make massive profits from people staying at the adjoining hotel who don't know any better. Will not be revisiting.
