I had my first visit to Dnisi this week and it certainly won't be my last. The food was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The customer service I received from Mark, who I assume was the manager was also first class. He was having a laugh with some of the regulars which added to the warm atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Good is very good quality. Wish they had more halal friendly options. Food is slightly overpriced. The coffee is the best here. I always get the sugar free caramel latte and it's amazing. Vegetarian options: Only has few vegetarian options, not alot of variety
If you’re looking for a cosy, friendly and lively spot for the perfect coffee then look no further than Dnisi in Shawlands! With its lovely blend of its own coffee or the option of a changing guest blend, my extra hot cappuccino never disappoints. I struggle to resist the delicious pastries & cakes on display but when I succumb, the fruit scone and the apple danish are my favourites! However, the real icing on the cake has to be the staff! You are always greeted with a warm welcome - even when it’s exceptionally busy - by the friendly, helpful and obliging team behind the counter! Paying a visit to Dnisi is an important part of my day ………..in fact it’s the best part!
Nice caffe with good coffee. We had issue with food every time we were there - whenever we ordered something to eat, each time at least one meal would be something missed that we mentioned. I'll probably come back there just for coffee in the future.Food: 4/5
I recently visited Dnisi in Shawlands to meet a friend for coffee, and it turned out to be a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and excellent service. The coffee was superb, perfectly brewed and just what we needed to kickstart our day. But it didn’t stop there; we decided to have breakfast as well, and it was absolutely delicious. The menu offered a great variety of options, all of which looked tempting. My breakfast was freshly prepared and full of flavor. To top it off, we couldn’t resist trying some of the cakes on display. The cakes were heavenly—rich, moist, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect sweet treat to complement our meal. The atmosphere at Dnisi is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and catch up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, our visit to Dnisi was a wonderful experience. With delicious food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service, it’s a place I highly recommend to anyone in Shawlands looking for a great coffee shop. I’ll definitely be returning soon!
Lovely little space for a coffee. Friendly staff. Disappointed with the coffee I ordered though. Asked for some sugar free syrup and it came as if there was a full bottle in it. It was so sweet I was unable to drink it. The food was good but for the price you'd expect it to be and I suppose when your coffee is undrinkable then it's not worth it, sadly.
Despite being super busy, the staff were extremely pleasant and the manager had an excellent line in “the banter” with his clearly regular customers. I had one of their guest blend Brazilian coffees, and it didn’t disappoint. The best coffee I’ve had in Shawlands hands down. Yes from me D’nisi!
Really nice place and workers but coffee which is now very good is most expensive in the area. Most coffee prices got hiked in recent times, but at near £4 = even more than city centre places...then upsells to more premium coffee on top of that which I assume is dearer again. Too much of a cash grab these days on what used to be sub-£3 pre-covid times. It's a pity as everything else is dialed in and nice. Just halts me being a regular.
Visited this coffee shop this morning, Such a lovely store, stunning coffee, beautiful and fresh scones, made even better with a bit of cream. Staff so welcoming and friendly Definitely worth a visit
Best coffee shop in Shawlands. Love the coffee, scones and soup. Friendly atmosphere and always clean and tidy. Staff are really nice and service is fast and efficient.Food: 5/5
