The website is as much use as a chocolate fire guard. I have been dealing with Council Tax over what should be a minor issue. I was asked to submit evidence through their online form. Issue 1: My Android device would not allow me to submit anything that wasn't a photo. Issue 2: the box for information only allows 3 lines of text making it extremely difficult to "explain everything" as I was advised by the phone operative. After waiting the 3-4 weeks for a responnse it became apparent that something had gone wrong. So we submitted again using a Windows device. It took 3 forms to put all the information on but all attachments went on form 1 ref 201002439063. In order to check everything was received correctly and attached together I phoned to learn that only 1 attachment had been received and the only alternative was to snail mail the evidence. Rather than just moan about the incompetency and inadequacies of Doncaster Council's website I thought I would go on to the site to report the issue, only to be greeted with "error loading form" see photo. The only saving grace is the phone operatives are generally very nice and the hold music has gotten much better in recent years.

a vital service many rely upon for safety and support! Unfortunately, this LA seeks out marketing leads by exposing the most vulnerable categories. Including but not limited to: Inconsistencies when undertaking vital disclosure enquires i.e. , Claire law, Sarah's law - casting life changing situations upon the most vulnerable families whereby disclosures for one reason or another were not made... Discrimination of disability - both children and their parents or carers... Any cognitive or processing disability that has a day to day impact- will not be considered to meet the criteria regardless if you are protected under the equality act 2010 - I.e ADHD Victimisation - domestic abuse victims are degraded, demoralised, minimalised, and profiled as a potential 'contributor' of domestic abuse rather than victim! Poly-victimsation - previously, LAC are repeatedly poly victimised for their own experiences of being a LAC - targeted for concerns such as 'the parenting ability, or capacity owed to circumstances that brought former LAC into the authority. Re- traumatising their former users and further Victimising for something the user has no responsibility owed upon. Consent and incapacity - What is informed consent ? Ensure you are fully informed, fully understanding, and aware of what you are agreeing to.... Furthermore, are you aware that if consent is required, the participant has a choice to accept or decline? This local authority is disgracefully skilled at obtaining 'consent' through 'implied' measures It would be interesting to see how many child/ family proceeding cases were represented by regulated solicitors rather than the 'legal training' staff who are not currently studying any law subject nor qualified any previous study.... leaving the Local Borough and its most vulnerable residents at the heart of further corruptive systematic abuse. Delegated a duty of care which is immediately extorted whilst staff knowingly commit fraud by false representation all may I add.... which is paid for by yours truly - taxpayers feel free.... head over to the socilictor Regulation authority: Know these names ? LISA BUNN CHRISTINE TINKLER Or we could discuss the part about how this Local authority and its counterpart public bodies I.e police, schools, medical staff and private carers are part of a much wider systematic failing : a national multi-agency conspiracy to conceal child abuse of looked after children in the United Kingdom... This authority was not appointed to an independent trust but more simply privatised. Hence, the ability to remove special measures in advance of time and through the duration of the second phase enquiry regarding the children's homes .... Appalling
Very arrogant staff, unhelpful and patronising. And past from pillar to post with no resolution. I hope my taxes dont actually pay for this sham! Shame there's no 0 stars.
The worst council. Moved out of the property. To a completely different city. But they sent another year of council tax. Obviously we couldn't pay as we no longer live there. What they did? Reported us to credit recovery agency. If that wasn't enough, my credit score is affected for several years now with a derogatory mark. Great job! Thanks Doncaster!
Pig ignorant , from the cheif executive , to Wellbeing , to child services , to local councilors , to their housing department " st leger homes " these people are pig ignorant , they all stick together and lie through their back teeth to protect their cronies. Even when u say their solutions are no good to you they still offer them . Then I'm told they don't have phone numbers for their own departments . And when proven wrong they ignore you. Even the people behind the counter in the waterdale lie . This council is corrupt to the core. A vile council run by beurocrats and backstabbers . All they seem to care about is refugees and The lgbt community.
Unfortunately, this is an embarrassment. Despite the nice service over the phone and at the reception. Important Matters are dealt with incorrectly and in a long time. I even had situations when I sent five emails to a department with which there was no other way to communicate, only email. After a month, I received a message that they did not have my email address. I wasted a lot of time and money so I judge it as lack of competence. ..
Booked and paid for collection of bulk waste online.Rang at 08.30 the same morning to ask if they email you with a day for collection,was told no they can come at any time and if the items are not there you won’t get a refund. Usual thing with Doncaster council,just want your money.The person on the phone said it’s in the terms and conditions,I’m sorry,I just want some mattresses taking away,I paid for it and just expected an email telling me when,who reads terms and conditions anyway?
My frist time here. There was a very short queue while the guard did a quick electronic heck of our forehead temperatures with a digital thermometer. there's hand sanitiser on the way in. There's a central desk to help point you in the right direction. There's free wifi. friendly helpful staff.
