Would never use this company again. The price was good and the skip was delivered on time. But we've now been waiting over 4 weeks for them pick the skip back up. Most have rang them 10 times and it's still outside. People have been filling the skip over Christmas and today the contents have been blowing all over the place
Hired a skip from these guys, drawn in by the price, but seriously please avoid them. Originally complained I hadn't told them to reverse up the road upon arrival, last skip company I used arthurs was much more professional and their driver managed to work out a dead end road. Don't know why these guys couldn't. Was then seemingly encouraged to be done with it and ring them as soon as possible so they could collect it when I was done with it. A week later tried to contact them regarding a pick up, my dodgy phone line meant I ended up sending a text about it which their website advertising you can try. This was completely ignored, The following Tuesday I contacted them again and was told they would pick it up asap and to leave my car clear of it. Nothing on Tuesday, called again on wednesday, apparently not in the area, didn;t believe them but what can I do. Called them today this Thursday, now in addition to the ultimately rude attitude every time I call them, and was told the more we pestered them the less likely they would be to come and get it. Absolutely terrible customer service, how they have been in business 25 years astounds me. Please do not use these people. They don't even provide proof of the skip hire and I highly doubt I actually have the road permit for the skip that I thought I had . One star as the previous reviewer said is way too high of a score, for the price, it seems like a good deal, but it will probably be the worst money you ever spend.
Order skip for Saturday came on time filled straight away, phoned dj skips Tuesday morning to collect, collected within an hour! Great service and cheapest around! Was bit weary as reviews said they take forever to collect!
This was a really good service. The price was excellent value, they delivered the skip exactly when they said they would and picked it up a couple of hours after I phoned to say it was ready for collection. Would definitely use them again.
AVOID DJ SKIPS! Me and my hubby needed a skip and as others got drawn in by the cheap price,it's no wunder they're cheap cuz it was meant to come Thurs mornin as agreed couldn't giv approx time just said between 8 and 12 so ok we waited,time passed got to 12 so I foned to make sure they were still coming then after a few more calls as it still hadn't arrived and they didn't answer, they said it was not coming but did not even call to say they couldn't get it to us after us waiting in all day hoping it wud turn up,then they said we might get it sat or Mon they didn't even know which day so that wudav meant waiting in agen to possibly get let down agen,this company is not professional in the slightest and didn't care that we needed a skip and that they would lose custom,it's not a business it's a big fat farse and a headache!will never use agen and I only put 1 star because I couldn't put none!
