Really shocking and discusting. We hired DJD and sons for an extension and restoration to our house. They started the job and then things went wrong resulting in them running away from our job taking our money for work not finished, and work that was so shocking had to be pulled down and re done by a different builder. Daniel Norman and David Welsted had admitted to us they would refund us some money for building unsafe steel work in our kids bedrooms. We have received no refund which was promised last year! They won't even pay us back for the work they hadn't even started. Utterly criminal. Do yourself a favour and think twice if you come across these idiots, it may save you £thousands and a load of unnecessary stress.

Horrific experience. DJD & sons, Danny Norman and David Welstead hired Feb 2019 for major renovation and extension. We had to hire new builders to put right all the substandard workmanship they did on our renovation. We were to move out for 6 to 8 weeks, ended up homeless and out of the house for 8 months. We also had to hire a Chartered Survey at considerably cost to us to ascertain all the sub standard work they carried out. New steels were needed and have admitted were installed wrong and admitted they owe us a substantial amount of money which we are still waiting for a year later. We are heavily out of pocket due to employing DJD & Sons. Went through ADR, they found in our favour due to overwhelming evidence that they owe us thousands of pounds and now they have been removed from Checkatrade. We will be taking them court.
