We had 6 large conifers in our garden which Colin removed for us. He was very careful to remove the branches and strap and pull the trunks with his digger so that the trees would fall away from the house, and also to make sure there were no live nests. The digger was very effective at digging out and removing the large tree stumps. Colin was extremely punctual, tidy and efficient and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Colin has done two jobs for me now, one a pond excavation and the other a landscaping job for new wildflower areas. Both were superbly done and expertly finished. Colin also has all the necessary qualifications and documents/cards to work on industrial sites which was massively helpful on the 2nd job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Colin saved the day repairing a leak to the supply water pipe which was located outside of the property. Colin was very professional friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend him.

When we approached Colin, we told him that we needed more than just the digger and driver. We needed a specialist and experienced person with the knowhow of problem solving and somebody who could help manage the phases of our work.  First phase: Demolition of Existing Garage After we agreed on a price & start date, Colin turned up right on time with all the machinery required to take down our problematic Garage. The level of experiance is phenomenal as Colin took a structured and systematic approach to the demolition which had the least impact to the surroundings. He managed to deconstruct the garage in no time and all the rubble was taken away by his trusted contacts. After seeing the way Colin works and the level of detail he goes into, we have instructed Colin for our foundations and drainage. We will surely post another update once those phases are complete.  We would highly Recommend Colin for any project.

In summary:-  Would I use again - yes Would I recommend - yes.  On each occasion Colin turned up on time. He was sociable and very helpful.  Advice was offered at each stage of the project.  The work was carried out in a very efficient and professional manner.

Would highly recommend Colin to anyone needing any ground work doing, from start to finish Colin was very informative of the how’s and whys, massive appreciation from myself as he saved me months of hard work in one day. All this at an excellent price as well. Thanks again Colin.

Colin has done an excellent job digging out the foundations and stoning up the base of my hard standing area. He was courteous and respectful and shared numerous ideas based on his years of experience that improved the project. I strongly recommend Colin for any groundwork’s.

Colin was recommended to us by friends who had used his services, as we had experienced a very bad service from another company . He dug out a 55 square metre driveway, he prepared the area and filled it with bassalt chippings. He also landscaped the garden and pathways making it suitable for a wheelchair user, constructing ramps by using railway sleepers, hardcore and tarmac. Overall he was nearly half the price of other companies who quoted for us, and his work was fantastic. He’s reliable, extremely trustworthy, tidy and a very hard worker. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

We decided to extend our drive for more parking, so we got Colin Dodds in to dig the front garden out, he did a great job and was very tidy, would highly recommend for any groundwork needs.
