We just had our Wedding Blessing Reception here, after 10 years of being married in a civil ceremony. The Hall was extremely versatile for our 140 guests and there was plenty of parking. We had a licensed bar in the smaller room too so our guests were well catered for and very happy. The kitchen was a great size to prepare food in and is well equipped. There is plenty of room outside for kids to run around in and there is a fantastic park just outside too. We held our blessing at the village church where the vicar was very welcoming and accommodating. Brilliant venue. Thank you Simon, and Southwick for everything. Highly recommend! Zoe & Heath xx
The village hall is known as the DDay Memorial Hall recognising the role that the village, and in particular Southwick House played a pivotal role in the Normandy Landings as the Command HQ.nnThe village Hall also includes a map of notable DDay related places and a ww2 Mine memorial recovered from Normandy.
Very nice and spacious. Ideal for birthday party venue and holding small gatherings.
Good size community hall in Southwick village. This will be very busy next weekend with D day activities
Great facilities, it was very nice to have lots of outside space and inside can accommodate a lot of people. Kitchen seemed well resourced. Only down side is that the acoustics were poor, so hearing people on stage including using a microphone was challenging and we missed a lot of what was said. Also, please mark hall car park better signposted. Overall, a very good venue.
