I came with my husband on Friday night. I've ordered takeaways from here on numerous occasions and have never been dissapointed. So thought it would be nice to eat in. We weren't dissapointed. The service was good. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The food is absolutely delicious and amazing with lots of different tastes bursting together. I would highly recommend. It's fresh and very well presented. The restaurant itself is small but very cosy and relaxing. They do have a small selection of alcohol. My husband had a beer and I had a glass of wine. It's a little gem of a place, and the only thing I can't understand is why it's so quiet. It should be busy as it's so much nicer then your usual Asian cuisine. I can't recommend this place enough!!!! It is definitely a place I will come back to again and again very soon.
Seriously one of the best takeaways ever. We both really enjoyed it. Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked to perfection. A host of flavoursome tastes, excellent use of herbs and spices. Just Gorgeous. Not the cheapest but good sized portions, excellent value for money. Also obviously healthier than most takeaways. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone and will definitely use again. Yum!
Having read several reviews we popped in here for a meal before going out for the evening. The food was tasty albeit with a fairly simple presentation. I guess we got there relatively early, as we were the only people in for the whole of our meal. There was a steady stream of deliveries and takeaways going out, though, so I'm sure they are popular locally. Service was attentive and unobtrusive and everything went very smoothly
Starters were nice. But when mains arrived chicken skewer had pink inside and clearly not cooked, and when told the staff member didn't seem to care even though being told it is dangerous. No offer of refund or anything even though we left our food. Doesn't look like place is looked after and it's old fashioned. Communication is also a problem, it was hard to make a simple order due to lack of understanding. Wouldn't go again.
Came here today with my family and the food was absolutely lovely! Family friendly and a little extra bits toy to entertain the young one. Food took a little while but worth the wait and complimentary herby cucumber yoghurt with a bread don’t know what it is called but it was nice. Food, staff, place... spot on! 5 star from me!
The food and service was just fantastic.
A great find, we came up from the Midlands and just randomly found this place on Google. From the outside it doesn't look like much and we almost didn't go in. But the staff are friendly it feels like we were welcomed into their home and the food is delicious. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.
Worst experience . Will never go again. It was our festive day and all we got was pathetic gravy okra stew, boiled white rice instead of safron rice and greek salad served without olives. i still feel nauseous with the taste of okra gravy even after a day and dont feel my £22 to be justified.
Wow, by far the best takeaway I have ever eaten! Not been there before, but treated myself for my 50th, and they came all the way to Heaton village to deliver. Worth the £25 treat : Sarah
Never been to a persian restaurant, never knew they existed. So went with an open mind. Chose the mixed starter four starters for £10.50 absolutly delicious, then the neck of lamb with a fantastic rice dish, mrs had chicken kabab. Beautiful food served by really friendly staff. All that with several beers and two large wines for the mrs came to £50. Bargain. Defo recommend you eat here. Oh persian is sort of turkish, greek, middle east fusion.
