Sadly, the NHS we once knew is now on its knees, a crippled shadow of its former self. Barely do we speak to a human being, let alone see one. I have been attempting to navigate a care pathway for my elderly father who has two life-threatening conditions as well as other less serious conditions. Everywhere we turn, we're faced with obstacles and even a complete block on getting him the basic healthcare he needs. That said, Cutlers Hill Surgery have been the human voice that we both need. Secretaries Lucy and Alison have gone above and beyond to get answers from the NHS. They have restored my faith and they have listened. My father and I feel reassured that they 'have his back'. They may not be doctors, but they have the ability to help to make things happen. Without the intervention of these incredible people, many patients will fall by the wayside.

Over the past 2 years this surgery has turned from a key part of the community to a lagging indicator of slow progress, the administration for even their opening and closing times are wrong 8:30 to 6:00 but at 9:20am on the 25th of November they were not open, the repeat prescription is 7 days not 5 that is say on the board and website, the slow response to patients within ques and the slow and lack of communication between the building is patchy at best sometimes out right wrong… if I was a new community member within the halesworth area, I would go somewhere else unless a true emergency and 9/10 they will send you to a bigger facility anyway…

We recently moved to the area and have been so impressed by the service at this practice from the first day we registered. The staff have been extremely helpful and the doctors have been very thorough in maintaining contact through an ongoing medical issue my husband had. Referral was swift and results came reassuringly quickly for which we are so grateful. Considering the current demands on the service we are very lucky to have such a proactive facility in our community.

Everyone has always been very very helpful under some difficult circumstances.nnMy only - hopefully - constructive criticism would be to let patients know if a doctor is running late. I recently attended feeling very unwell and waited an hour. Had I known I could have been more comfortable in my car. Other than that, well done!

I have been so impressed with the diligence and dedication of the doctors and all the staff. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful and both the treatment received by myself and my elderly mum recently have been beyond reproach. We are so lucky to have a service that I know is thoroughly stretched at present. Thank you
