"CUT is the foremost higher education institution in the heartland of South Africa. The university has two campuses – one in Bloemfontein, the judicial capital of South Africa, and one in Welkom, in the heart of the Free State goldfields. The two campuses offer education opportunities in a number of technological fields, including science, technology, engineering and mathematics STEM; management sciences; humanities; and education."
Studied for 3 years at cut Bloemfontein campus and without a doubt the lecturers are some of the best I've ever encountered but the admin structure leaves a lot to be desired. Everything outside of the classroom is below par
The institution is the best since i'm a first year student i just regret taking gap year last year i could have enjoyed since last year if it wasn't off my choice to take a gapbut it's super awesome there
I felt like the time I missed its possible to create a better tomorrow .just wow and I can't wait to go back
Amazing campus, with state of the art facilities, which is inclusive of disabled students technological and traditional faculties. Very innovative Career Office and Campus radio station CUTFM.
Best institution ever...it's inspiring, motivating and positive environment.
It is the best university
A high tech central university that has just what a 4IR inclined student needs.
UNPROFESSIONAL AND LAZY STAFF Honestly the admin department at CUT are the rudest and laziest people to deal with. Explains why students are constantly striking and complaining. Its truly easy for the institution to look at the students and blame them but we need to truly be honest about the root cause, CUT staff are lazy. Calling for information seems like rocket science, truly suggest a clean up of staff and hire people that are passionate about delivery and respect for their discipline and treatment of others. The institution seem to be deteriorating and blaming kids that come and eventually leave is not sensible or logical, staff members are conformable and forget why they come to work. The student fight, strike and cause chaos because someone is failing to do their job, its as simple as that.
Terrible ask yourself why the bots here giving it 4+ stars are not even elaborating well why
Attended the hotel school dinners multiple times - wonderful experience and a must if you like fine dining! Plus you support the students with their practical activities. Well done to all involved.
