The store is huge and has a variety of options especially if you are looking for computer accessories, televisions or laptops. They can out or stock though for many items. However, its one of most convenient options if you wanna go and check out the stuff before actually. The staff was helpful and friendly. I think you can find competitive prices online though.
The shop like any other currys had lots of products but sadly many products were out of stock. It would be great if the respective authorities avoid displaying the out-of-stock products. I went to take a laptop and many laptops displayed were actually out of stock. They also had lots of new tech stuff like Meta Portal go, Nvidia Shield TV etc. The shop is big and the customer service is also fine.
I went to look for a new TV and the selection on display is fantastic but that's where it ends. I spend over an hour in total in the TV section and after 15 minutes of walking around I decided to have a little play with the TVs myself so was connecting my phone to the ones I liked to compare the quality and features. Once I made up my mind on the one I wanted and since not even 1 person approached me I walked to the front to ask if the TV I wanted was available to take away with me and they said they don't have it in stock and that I would have to order it online for a "faster " delivery. So I went online as suggested by that employee and came across the same TV, cheaper and with 6 years warranty instead of 5 from Richer Sounds and could order and collect in store the following day. Thanks Currys for the display but on this occasion I bought my new 65" TV from Richer Sounds. The Slough store needs a massive shake, the service was inexistent.
Brought headphones in for repair under my paid warranty. Told it would take about 10 days. After 3 weeks I went in and they were still there and hadn’t even been sent off. Apparently they hadn’t been picked up. No call, email or text to let me know. I also had to go to the store in person just to find out what’s going on because they clearly don’t have a telephone. So after 3 weeks already sitting there I’m told someone would call me the very next day to organise giving me a voucher for a new pair. That was 10 days ago and again no text email or call as a courtesy to let me know what’s happening. Terrible service.
It's a large shop , with lot of things for home use like TV, computer's, mobiles , fridge, kitchen appliances N more.. I found the staff working there very helpfull n kind . Especially Mr Naveen he was very helpful and explained everything nicely about the products. Opening time is 10.00 am so before that u will find it closed, There is ample of parking area . We got a TV n a tumble dryer for good price .
Spent nearly 2 hours in this store just wanting to purchase a laptop. Plenty of staff walking around on their phones and chatting to eachother but nobody asked if we needed any help and only 1 member of staff able to help and told would have to wait 20 minutes before she was free. Heard staff talking rudely to customers and the manager just standing around joking around with her staff. Will not be going back to this horrible place would have given zero. AVOID AND SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE
Customer service really bad. We had a hoover that was damaged and we called the curry's customer service and spoke to a lovely lady name Cindy she assured us to go to curry's slough and she will sent the manager an email to make sure they sent our hoover for repaired or exchanged it. We did say to her that I had this issue before they never try to help and she said no worry just go there they will do something for us. We drove to the shop and the manager on duty there very rude not even checking his email he straight away said he can't change it we also mention about the email he just did not want to help at all we said to him we spoke on the phone and tell them exact problem but he would not want to even try to help. Even the gentleman on the customer service was not expecting how he was behaving. I never had any problem before its this only this manager was not helpfully at all. Customer service should be your first priority but this was very disappointing .
Wanted to buy a 22" Monitor - they only had 24" + and a dehumidifier, none in stock. Took ages to find someone to help me, 3 were talking with each other and ignored me. Will never return, would rather buy online from any other company!
Massive thank you to Matthew and Rupert after curry’s failed to deliver our tv they went above and beyond to help us collect one from another store. Your customer service has been brilliant!
What you would expect from a curry's store... get the stereotypical spectrum of sales people. The guys who talk amongst themselves even if a customer is trying to get thier attention, the computer sales person who you regret not avoiding because he has every tech spec in his head and reels of reasons why the icore 5 is the only starting point and that it is only the top 10% of the price range that are ok to watch any more than a single YouTube video as well as using outlook.... and let's not forget the upstart store manager whose desperately trying to push his juniors into straightening the toasters for the eight time... and sadly the sales person who's more interested in looking my wife up and down than helping... yes, its sadly true. Sorry forgot the products, got all the right products and pricing is fairly typical too. Just never go there for something like a laptop charger they are 40 pounds. Amazon is your best bet.
