Had a great level of customer service from Tina. She was very knowledgeable and gave me amazing advice on products. It was obvious she cared about me as a customer and wasn't just after my money. Will be going in to store soon to hopefully get a cooker and I hope I come across her again.. I also had some dealings with the store manager Ali, very nice gentleman and is very clued up about the products in store. Made my shopping experience better then I expected.
One item I wanted was out of stock. I was informed it was not available to collect from the store but was available to be delivered to my home at a cost of £30. I live a 10 minute drive from the store so asked why if the delivery was going passed the store why couldn't it be dropped there and I could then collect it saving 30quid.this was greeted with a blank look.
Despite what their marketing says, their staff don't know anything about what they're selling and really couldn't care less about helping anyone. There's no way to find out what's in stock without either checking the website or with a member of staff. The staff just check the website on their tablets and read straight off them. Then evaporate as soon as they can in case you ask a second question. Ultimately, you get a better customer experience by just browsing their website yourself, at which point you might as well browse a cheaper website.
Limited Choices for Mobile Phones: It’s disappointing when a store with a vast space doesn’t offer a wide selection of mobile phones. Perhaps they could expand their inventory to cater to diverse customer preferences. Salesman Availability: Waiting for assistance can be frustrating, especially when you’re eager to explore or make a purchase. Salespeople should be attentive and readily available to assist customers promptly. Salesman Reluctance: It’s unfortunate that some salesmen are unwilling to help outside their designated sections. Ideally, they should be knowledgeable and willing to assist customers regardless of their area of expertise. Refusal to Assist: A refusal to help is certainly not the level of service one expects. Salespeople should strive to provide excellent customer service, even if it means stepping outside their comfort zone.
Went in to buy a TV, we wanted to check the price on one in particular, asked a few different members of staff for help, one said that he just had to put some keys down and would be right back, he then avoided us completely. Another said he was busy and just didn't bother trying to help at all. We were in there maybe half an hour and ended up just walking out because no one would help us. Really disappointed and still without a TV.
I couldn't resist but write this because of the poor attitude of the staff in there. There was a manager called Ali who tried to sell me things without actually informing that it will cost me additional money. I could figure out his tactics in time, so I avoided overpaying. He wasn't honest and transparent. Not going into that store again.
Keep trying to call to ask if a repair job can be done to my headphones which cost around 200 pounds so I’d rather not buy a new headset but the call is picked up and I hear them put it straight back down in the repair centre, tried calling a few times, if that’s the way it’s going to be I doubt I want the staff to handle my headphones since they don’t care about customers so I’d rather look somewhere else. Worse service than back in africa.
I went Into curry’s In Oxford and the operator 45, David was an amazing salesman, but unfortunately The 65 inch 4K LG TV I got the box was already opened on sale . He said that nothing would be wrong with it and wrote on my receipt saying that the box has been opened. bringing it back to my house to set up the TV and the half the screen is warped, and I’m not pleased with the situation, considering how much I spend in curry’s And now have to go back to curry’s And try and see if they have another one on the shelf that is brand-new and not opened, So in future, if there is a box that is opened, do not take it from curry’s As it will most likely be damaged As I have experienced which takes a lot of time off of your hands because I now have to go back and try and sort out a new one, not happy with this unfortunately
Please DONT shop here! Staff are clueless about what they’re doing it took an hour for me and my uncle to buy a single speaker for delivery as they only had one display model, he paid some in cash and the rest on card but when he was given the card reader they hadn’t even deducted the amount he already paid so he would’ve ended up paying £310 on top of £200 he gave in cash had he not spotted it. Staff members had to come teach the guy we were with what to do then they would disappear instead of sticking with the new employee. 2 that handled our order said their tablets weren’t working or out of battery so I practically had to do everything myself on my phone. Never again
The service here was outrageously terrible! I went to collect a few items, and it was a complete disaster. There was chaos with my order, zero assistance, and they had the audacity to tell me to call customer care since they claimed they couldn't do anything. I endured over 30 minutes on hold while physically in the store, and not a single person bothered to help. The staff acted like they had no clue, constantly calling each other without any resolution. Absolutely infuriating experience! I strongly advise others to opt for delivery instead of visiting this store. The staff is completely untrained, always confused, and exhibits zero willingness to assist customers. Save yourself the frustration and avoid stepping into this place at all costs!
