Absolutely shocking and disgraceful customer service! So upset I even left the store crying. Purchased a brand new iPhone 1 month ago costing me £700. The phone has a faulty charging port, I visited the store with the phone and proof of purchase hoping I could do a simple exchange but they wouldn’t allow me to do a refund or exchange. Spoke to the Store manager Daniel who was SO unhelpful. The only option he offered was to send it off for repair. I explained I cannot be without a phone! I also explained that I called Currys customer services prior to visiting and they advised me I could visit the store to do an exchange but was faced with an entirely different situation when I got there. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone more senior but was told there was nobody else. I asked Daniel to call head office and he also said he couldn’t do that. He is basically a store manager who couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything to assist me. This is such appalling customer service, especially after I spent a lot of money on a new iPhone. All the staff disappeared as they didn’t want to help me and I was left in distress at the front counter on my own with nobody to deal with. Such an awful experience. I will never be buying from Currys again!! They are quick to take your money but don’t care whatsoever when you have a problem.
Went here for a washing dryer with my mum yesterday. Ended up walking out with a shark hoover too nPreviously been here to purchase a fridge freezer, washer dryer, a laptop and built-in fridge freezer.nnEach time going there had been great. Staff is really helpful. They are really knowledgeable in the area they are in and know what they are talking about. They listen to what you're looking for and price budget then tell you what's the best product to match what you've said.nnEach time walking out happy and content with our purchases.nnI would give 4.5 stars but I wouldn't let me and the reason for the take away of stars is because sometimes I've gone there and could not find anyone to talk too on the shop floor, so I end up hovering around for a bit of time before someone appears. But I still would go back to this store all the time.
Went to buy a kitchen appliance staff were ignoring us. Eye contact, but no approach at all. The service I received was disgusting. The staff should he customer focused when assisting them not chatting and laughing to your colleagues and later apologising because you got held up. Poor level of service
Assistant I talked with to get a new gaming monitor was very friendly and patient. Didn't try to give me any sort of unwanted advice as many people in tech try when they see a woman looking for something, he just listened to my requirements and pointed to what is fitting then helped me out to book the pick up of the monitor from another store as they didn't have this specific model on stock and another store was also low.
Poor Customer Service – Slough CurrysnnI purchased a TV from the Currys store in Slough and returned within an hour after realising it was the wrong model. When I asked for a refund, I was spoken to by the store manager, Mohamad Shabaz, who was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.nnDespite the TV being returned almost immediately, I was told that the mistake was entirely mine and that a refund was not possible. The only option offered was an exchange for a TV that was not in stock, which would take a week to be delivered. I politely explained that I needed a refund as I could purchase the correct TV the same day from another retailer, but this was dismissed bluntly. The manager responded with a smile, repeatedly stating that it was my problem and I would have to “deal with it.”nnWhen I informed him that I would be making a formal complaint, he gave me his full name with a smirk, appearing to enjoy the situation and behave in a showy manner in front of other customers in the queue. This was extremely unprofessional and embarrassing.nnIn contrast, I later visited the Currys store in Hayes with the same return request and received a full refund immediately, without any issues or interrogation. This highlights that the problem was not company policy, but the behaviour and attitude of the manager at the Slough store.nnI will be advising family and friends to avoid Currys Slough and instead visit the Hayes branch, where customer service is handled professionally. I will also be making a formal complaint regarding the conduct of Mohamad Shabaz, as his behaviour was completely inappropriate for someone in a managerial role.
