Best place for buying electrical items in the UK and Europe. You will be like every item whenever you visit this place for sure.nnI especially love the gaming section of the currys because they have lost of option's for everygamers.nnAnd the service from the Archit Kumar Patel was too good.
Totally useless!nnYou can never find a staff member to actually help. When you do they always need to pass you over to someone else.nnHad an issue with something under warranty which was brought in store. Was told can’t be exchanged in store and to contact customer services. Contacted customer services to be told had to be changed in store.nnManager is just there to reinforce their can’t do attitude. Total lack of customer service and everyone seems to be there to kill time, no one actually wants to work.nnI would avoid at all costs.
Came in to the store to fix my nephews tablet which is covered under insurance, queued up in the repair line. The guy named rod, I can’t 100% remember his name, he wasn’t quite happy serving. First of all him telling me you need to contact this number we can’t do anything the policy’s changed. Ridiculous, he clearly didn’t want to help, fair enough I called the insurance company, they told I could claim it in store too, this time had to wait for the manager as the advisor wasn’t helpful. The manager decided to say the same thing, had to get him to speak with the customer service, and the he decided to give me an option. Which I could claim in the car phone warehouse. The problem is they never gave me 2 options, and they never explained what’s changed in the insurance policy. As I use to work there I know how it worked but never got explained what has been changed. The guy in the carphone warehouse was very helpful. Thanks to him, had to go in the day after as it was still under curry’s warranty, so they didn’t even want to check if the tablets wore under warranty, as usually they should be checking that sort of information. Maybe the ombudsman should get involved, because it looks like they don’t want to serve any customers. I’m sure if they wore to receive the sort of service they wouldn’t be happy. Assistant manager wasn’t a help, just staring doing nothing, the other manager Martin wasn’t a help either. Currys is going down the hill or just needs a new managing system.
Ordered a fridge freezer and specifically specified that I lived in a flat on the second floor with no lift. Was told that this wasn’t an issue, on the day of delivery the driver said they couldn’t delivery it above the first floor. Wouldn’t have order if this was the case as I live alone. Should consider better delivery options for larger appliances!
Purchased an item for collection, with the intention of using their ‘Price Guarantee’. At collection, was told I needed to join a separate customer service line for the price guarantee.nnOne person at the front, meant over a 40 minute wait despite counting 6 members of staff all stood idly the entire time on the shop floor.nnThe person at the desk found the Amazon price I wanted to match, but said because I had only just collected the item, it was not showing on their system and so the only resolution was for me to “come back in the morning”. This staff member was very helpful and did try their best - not their fault at all.nnOf course the next day the price had changed..nnWhat a horrible experience
