My mother in law's TV broke within the guarantee period. Took it back to the store to be replaced or fixed only to be told to take it away and get in touch with the manufacturer. Contacted the manufacturer who said they will pick it up and fix it for a charge. This wasn't in the agreement! Called Curry's to explain but because someone had mistyped my father in laws name on the receipt, they couldn't get me past security! Customer service is dire.
Depends on what you are after. They have a decent stock of household electrical, but I was after a digital camera and a computer mouse. They had two cameras on display and I believe four others available if you asked to see them. They had a similar number of very basic computer mice. Obviously Currys isn't a computer store as such, but since they closed PC World its the nearest thing that there is. Really very disappointed and shan't be going in again... unless I need a washing machine

Recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro from the Bury Store, Plenty of Free Parking, Plenty of Disabled parking spaces, Polite and friendly staff, Excellent customer service and great product knowledge from the staff member and even though a free gift offer had expired the staff member gave me a Samsung Trio 3 in 1 ChargerBuds, Phone, Smartwatch worth £100. 5 Service, Excellent customer service

Bought a Samsung fridge freezer £599.00.As I returned a cheap one being sharp edges on back. This is worse than the first one. As my baby is constantly pulling the plug wire out. And putting his hand in open back space where all parts fitted. I Reed on curry's website new fridge freezer should be all covered on the back. Been curry's constantly complaining nothing being done all the bullet point about thus fridge freezer is not correct. As food doesn't stay frozen if power cut or out. Rip offs. Also on purchasing this the young sales assistant said to me if a customer won the promotion of a product purchased he wouldn't tell them and keep it. Think he was called Lee. Bought a new washer 22nd April, installed by Curry's 25th April and reported it faulty within 5 hours of installation. Arranged a replacement and was informed by text that this would be delivered today 30th April which didn't materialise. Instead 2 Curry's employees came to inspect the installation. They said the installation was fine but the machine was definitely faulty given the noise it made on 'spin'. They also pointed out the dints in the front which I hadn't previously noticed. I went back to the store for a refund. Back in the Bury store I was informed I needed the serial number to further this so went home and then returned to the store with the serial number. I was told the manufacturer had to inspect the machine before a refund is given. Received a text saying a Hoover engineer would come to inspect the machine on Thursday 2nd May. Awful customer service and unhelpful systems and processes!
I have a working xbox series but a dodgy TV that they refuse to pick up because they want a serial number first, would have been 1 star but the xbox does work, pathetic customer service.
Store is spacious, clean & the staff are knowledgeable but not too pushy. Plentiful parking. I bought an eye level grill cooker, just wish the staff had informed me that it came as a self assembly & not as seen in the store. Cost me extra when my gas fitter came to fit it as he had to assemble it for me
