An excellent place I've been for the first time.I have heard a lot about this chain of stores but everything is contrary to very good. Basically I went to buy an electric scooter in the first hour to commute to work and I was amazed how nice and behaved the staff was with me and especially the supervisor or the team leader. I don't know if there are people who just gossip, but I would give 100 stars for the experience I had with them. And I will definitely come back. It is the only store that is related to technology and IT, and if you don't know something or you are an ordinary person, the employees will not look from above you.i
I warn you about my recent experience with PC World Currys and the unacceptable poor quality of their products. As a previous customer, I can confidently say that you will regret purchasing from this store. I recently had the misfortune of purchasing two HP Envy laptops from PC World Currys, and both laptops had the same problem with their hinges breaking after only a few months of use. Even though my warranty had only recently expired aweek ago, the store's service team refused to help me and was unwilling to listen to my complaint. This is unacceptable, and I strongly advise you to stay away from PC World Currys. In addition, the store's poor product quality and lack of customer support is entirely unacceptable, and I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service. If you value your money and want a quality product, do yourself a favour and consider alternative options. Research other companies that offer similar products or services and compare their reputation, customer reviews, and warranties. This will help ensure you receive a quality product and the support you need if you encounter any issues.
Went in today to purchase some new earphones. Walked in, group of staff stood chatting with not one of them greeting me or at anytime coming to ask if I require assistance. Chose the ones I wanted and went to the till. Then of them came to the till and proceeded to try and pester me into purchasing their warranty whilst serving me. Told me it was £9 and when I said no he then asked if I would buy it at £4 instead. This goes to show he tried to swindle me out of an additional £5 at the beginning! Will not be back.
Went in to collect laptop, the staff were rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. Although the product is good, would avoid this location at all costs if you don’t want to be belittled by the staff for not wanting to purchase any upgrades.
Went in to enquire about Instax cameras and photo printers, not knowing a great deal about them. We got greeted really promptly by Aaron, and from there on in his customer service was impeccable. Felt like we were talking to a friend rather than someone at a tech store. He ran us through what they had in store and even gave us options of other brands to look at online that they didn’t have in stock. After a casual chat about life and travel we left the store and went to do some more research on the alternatives Aaron had given us. After a brief Google search regarding the quality of the brand we were looking at we had no hesitation in turning around to go back to the store to speak to Aaron and purchase the printer from him. Aaron if you see this, you’re a legend and enjoy the cruise mate !!
Do not buy any phone from it,as they're giving you the wrong information and if , the product is faulty you will struggle to return it. Staff will make the story and mess with you on very rude way.They will send you to internet provider even Currys sell you the phone, so provider doesn't have anything with it,but that's obviously they taktik as I was not the first one to whom they were doing it. I'm very surprised this company still exists with such as bad customer service,rud and unprofessional staff. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
Needed a replacement ink cartridge for a printer. The mature assistant was very helpful and even price matched the item, another retailer that was a little cheaper. Thank you.
I went to buy a headset and noticed that price tickets were wrong in almost all headsets I checked In-fact I went with two products to tills assuming good deals but ended up hearing different prices from the person who was on tills But when I told him that then prices tickets on shelves are wrong he didn't want to even check that and just ignored me in a very harsh way
Warranty policy is not good. They refused to give battery coverage which is unethical for a newly purchased product. But some of their stuffs are good.
This is the place to be for ALL electrical items. Curry is unbeatable for quality, durability and prices. Their watchword is "You can't get it any cheaper anywhere". I personally have checked and it's a true saying. Up! Up! Curry, down, down, Prices!!!
