Came to this place because of a rating which showed ranked one. Just one word disappointed. Ordered samosa and tandoor chicken for starters. They serverd the food within 5 minutes. But the happiness of getting food so fast so fast did not last much till o had my first bite. Uncooked and non palatable. Ordered paneer mutter and chicken vindaloo with paratha for main course. Instead of paneer it was a big chunk of cheese. And trust me the dishes were worthless. I seriously doubt the credility of Reigate curry club. How on earth can this place be better than clove or spice Guru.
Worst restaurant! The curries are not at all fresh! And the taste is not even near to the actual cuisine. Even they need to learn how to host the guests. We were standing for 15 minutes and one of the staff came and rudely behaved with us. You need to learn hospitality or otherwise shut your outlet! And also improve the quality of food. This is not at all authentic Indian food!
Overcharged for vegetable jalfrezi. Plain rice instead of pilau. Vegetable curry for biryani too hot and tiny portion. Telephoned complaint met with indifference. She said she’d tell the chef for next time. Won’t be a next time!
I've just learnt that management has changed. After 15 years of lovely currys and a great relationship with the owner, I knew instantly that something had changed. Jalfrezi was mediocre and not spicy at all and the Chana Paneer chick peas with cheese was horrible.. The order turned up with missing items and then they tried to charge me for them! When we called, all we got was attitude. I sincerely hope things improve for them but I will be looking for another curry house. GUTTED!
Awful. After many nice meals in the restaurant and take aways, tonight's was apalling. Wrong rice sent with my Dhansak, the ' Dhansak was horrible, didnt taste at all like one. Chicken vindaloo was terrible,, again nothing like one. Ive just read management has changed. Sadly will never order from here again.
Probably just had the worse Indian take-away ever. I am no food critic, but you don’t have to be when something is really bad. One of the meals was cold - most likely because the microwave broke; all the others were plain/bland, the favour was completely absent, probably due to recycling of food, which may have been reheated & reheated... The worse was when I found old pieces of popadum in my dish, but with no idea of how it got in there, struggling to find a reason of how it may have ended up in there. I am not one to complain or not finish a meal, but today I have done both. Eat there with your eyes open!
Had a great evening again at the curry garden, food was scrumptious, such a homely feel inside with lovely decor, miles better than the other indian restaurants in the area. Decent servings and friendly staff, strongly recommend
Perfectly good Indian restaurant but look quite dated inside. Service is always good and the food what you would expect. Delivery is also offered.
Loved this place! Staff was super friendly and patient with a large table of Americans too! Delicious food, wish I could go back again and again!
Food is average, dont go for paneer dishes as you will not find Indian paneer in it they uses cheddar which does not taste good. Staff is not customer friendly as well.
