Story

Independen vegan wholefoods store and takeaway located in the lovely Lanes of Leicester's city centre.

We sell a wide range of vegan, organic and wheat/gluten-free products, from chilled drinks and frozen meals, to dried fruit/nuts, baking aids, snacks, speciality teas and toiletries. Anything you can't find we can happily order in on request.

Our selection of delicious vegetarian and vegan takeaway savouries, snacks, cobs and cakes are made everyday for you in our little kitchen. These include the ever-popular Sosage Rolls, Lentil Flan, Wholemeal Pizza, Quiches and Samosas.
And for afters, try a slice of our freshly baked cakes, flapjacks or a Date/Apricot Slice!

Awesome service awesome staff! Loved the vegan food. I liked the vegan sausage rolls and the drinks they had were quiet nice too! They seem to have something for everyone. Nice little place to go to and get some quick food on the run ‍ when in city centre.
Absolute little gem of a shop, not just for Vegans! Got some great bargains but best of all was the wrap, very tasty, filling and excellent value for money. The young lady that served us was super friendly and helpful.Food: 5/5

I am truly heartbroken because I’ve been in Leicester for two months, leaving it after two days, and I just came across this shop today! They definitely have the most delicious, chocolatey brownies I’ve ever tasted!!!& the shop lady was the nicest!
As a vegan living in the UK for six months now, I haven’t found more delicious vegan food than the takeaway snacks of Current Affairs not even in London!. I often take a bus to Leicester just to bring a bag full of their quiches, jack fruit wraps amazing! and cookies I strongly recommend the polenta with spinach as well. For vegans and non-vegans, it is a place with truly delicious savoury and sweet homemade food.

Can't believe it took me so long to leave a review!! Genuinely these guys are one of the main reasons ive been vegan for almost 3 years now. Amazing advice, delicious homemade goodies and a real care for their customers. Not to mention a great supplier relationship with some amazing indie vegan products to offer
Such a unique specialist shop with super friendly and knowledgeable staff. A delicious seasonal range of homemade takeaway bakery items: sausage rolls, wraps, and a good range of cakes and tray bakes. Great grocery range too! Including chilled & frozen.
As a new vegan I was lucky enough to stumble across here due to recommendations and wow! What a little gem! I absolutely love this shop. The lady was so very kind and offered lots of advice and an online ordering which was fabulous. I unfortunately do not live in Leicester and quite a while away but would be a frequent visitor if I did. Everything we bought from here was incredible Thank you, Thank you! I can’t recommend you enough!
My first ever visit to such kinda place where u can get everything vegan. I just bought couple of stuff for my partner who is vegan for almost 5 years now. Very nice n friendly staff n service was great.
