Stopped to walk the dogs along the coast.Theres a burger van there which serves rolls with various hot fillings also has culken skink if you fancy it.Its a bit pricey but the food is good.Cullen is a beautiful village to visit, a must see if you are in the area
This is not actually the golf club Ggogle just thinks it is but is Cullen Beach at about 06:30 when I was out walking on the beach. The beach is a good walk mostly flat and the light at that time in the morning is great for photography, the air is cool and clear, the walk certainly clears the head and works off one of the Cullen Bay Hotels excellent diners.
Great little track not to be overlooked because of its short yardage 4000 or so yards some fantastic holes, amazing scenery and very friendly staff
Great beach for walking and exercising the dog.
I have just played one of the best courses I have had the pleasure to have played. This “Quirky” Links Course was in wonderful condition and I even managed to avoid the forecast heavy rain. Teeing off at 11am, I had a warm welcome upon arrival. The course is just over 4,000 yards and is in very good condition as I earlier stated. The local scenery is lovely and is picturesque, with a costal view second to none. The course has some of the most unusual and interesting holes I have ever played. There are lots of hidden greens and hazards around this little gem of a course. The large rocks are outstanding , playing over , around and through them is something you have to see to believe. I feel every golf fan must play this course at least once in your lifetime. I actually shot a 5 over 68, and felt as comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Strongly recommended this wee gem
Really lovely view's golf course is great and fun to play. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Very nice coarse some tricky holes on it don't let the Par 3's deceive you and you also get to see the Legendary Mr Barlows Rock
A very interesting place to play golf. A short, compact, fun round for anyone who enjoys quirky holes. See the photo of the 120 yard par 3 over a sandstone ridge to the hidden green! The rock is involved in more of the holes. The small homely clubhouse will give you a warm welcome as well.
Dog friendly open to non members. Really good views of the sea, the barman even lent us a pair of binoculars to watch the seals.
We had an amazing time at Cullen. A nice break from the 100£ + courses. Awesome views and some truly unique holes. The blind shots into 12 and 13 were superb. No laying up!
