Whilst Culina may have a fleet of nice new cabs for their drivers, their trailers are amongst the worst, most horrible and dangerous to load trailers ever.nnTheir trailers are almost always filthy on the inside where foodstuffs for public consumption are transported, the curtain-side trailers are old and decrepit with holes in the floor so large that wheels of trollies with heavy loads can get caught and tip onto a loader loading the trailer I have personally witnessed many near-misses and there has already been several accidentsnnIt's about time the management stop sitting on their fingers, drooling over '£' signs and actually make real investments into new, easy to load and use trailers. Stop supplying filthy old trailers with wooden floors to transport foodstuffs, this is the 21st century for goodness sakes!nnWill it happen? No, the management worry too much about their god; money.nnNB* If you're an investor and smart with your money, don't bother investing in this business and if you're a customer, find someone else with cleaner trailers to transport your foodstuffs. Cheaper might save a few pence but you'll also be dealing with filthy trailers of which some may find its way into the foods and uninterested loading staff.
Cullina site catch the wrong time wait forever to get in que can be away up road once your in yard it can be a wait as a large portion of there drivers can't reverse on to the bays so that takes a while even if you watch them back as shunters don't bother staff in office are alright have to show ur cpc card so mind take that in wouldn't be sad if I never loaded here again.
5 hours to get paperwork for collection of 3 pallets. What a Joke! Staff unhelpful, no sense of urgency, kicked off site as they needed the room.
Been in there a few times now when coming back across the water & have to admit they've never been too bad. Always polite & professional & usually always straight on a bay & tipped within an hour. I've arrived late before & arrived early and never had a problem.nYard is tight when busy and facilities are not the best so only 4 stars!
When you approach the depot it's at the end of an industrial estate basically a dead end and the road leading up to it has trucks parking there overnight.nThis causes long queues as you have to leave room for exiting trucks to get out.nAt the entrance barrier try and get close to the intercom , press transport or goods in button clearly displayed.nSpeak clearly and you will be advised which bay they want you on.nDrive slowly 10mph its not designed for class 1 vehicles so take your time
