About

Cuisine de Bar is a cuisine that requires neither a chef, nor a kitchen. Tartines - open sandwiches - are prepared to order. The simplicity of the presentation allows you, if you wish, to eat the tartines with your fingers.

Found this wonderful place just off Sloane square. It shows you not to judge a book by its cover., You might walk right past it. They have wonderful service and super friendly staff The coffee is wonderful, they also have superb menu for lunch and to top if off an outdoor area downstairs.
I came here for breakfast so my review is limited to that. Breakfast items are limited. The description on the menu is fabulous but what you get is poor. For example there was a dish with a weird name and description that seemed to be a creative item. When it came it turned down to be two boiled eggs on a toast!!! Taste is bland and boring. Decor is elegant and chic. Service was good.
Modern and comfortable, young vibe, good for socialising and working on your laptop. Most amazing jam I've ever tasted. Coffee was great too.
Great location just a side step off Sloane Square, behind Peter Jones and the King's Road. Aesthetically pleasing inside and out. A French vibe inside feeling very relaxed. Not only will you find the usual varying shapes and sizes of tables as one would expect in a cafe/restaurant but there are many individual writing style tables for one person only. They face out into the room making one feel very comfortable to be dining on one's own. I visited twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The crushed avocado on toast is one of it's most popular breakfast dishes; I spotted at least 4 other customers eating this too. I did have to ask for more butter to be served with the toast but the waitress was more than happy to supply extra. The fruit salad was very fresh but it could have done with more variety; it consisted of bananas, clementines and apples. The orange juice was super and I rated it 9/10. The hot chocolate was 10/10 and the late was 9/10 both in flavour but the cup sizes are very small, so one would need to order two! The lunch was a disappointment. I had a large salad. Too many spindly lettuce leaves spinach or varied leaves would have made it more interesting. Generous dollop of humus mixed with a few largely sliced tomatoes and artichokes on sourdough bread the bread was tasty. The toilets are located down two flights of stairs.
The chicken salad was delicious. Very well decorated place. Staff weren't overly friendly, wanted us to come and go quickly it seemed
Wonderful environment . Excellent service. Food is great . Soup of the day carrot and corriander was delicious. Don't forget to buy their fresh biscuits and breads.
Popped in here for a drink. They got our order wrong and gave us too much cake and a ginger and orange fruit drink that literally tasted like someone had soaked a ginger root in a sock for a year and it actually stung when I drank it. The cakes were uncovered and there was flies buzzing around them. Don't think I'd bother with this place again.
Croissant are not delicious like it supposed to be, disappointed, they also put service charge on the bill!! Bad points Staffs are cool
The 3 stars are because during the day they're amazing! Don't bother going after 5pm, you'll get stale leftovers.
Cute and cosy place with a charming atmosphere. Perfect for a meet-up with a friend, or an intimate coffee break- they have tables for single persons!
