Housed in a delightful listed building dating back to the 1700s, Cuckfield Dental Practice has provided family dentistry to the local community and surrounding areas for over 20 years. We now have five surgeries and treat more than 10,000 patients.Attitudes to oral health have undergone a sea change over the last few decades. At Cuckfield Dental Practice we now spend at least as much time on prevention as we do on cure and, in keeping with our role as family dentists, nowhere is this more apparent than with the children we treat. We are passionate advocates of educating them how to look after their teeth and gums properly."

I’ve recently joined Cuckfield Dental Practice, what a wonderful team they are. Ruth my dentist has been amazing. I had a check up with her recently, X-rays all done efficiently, and spoke about teeth whitening, Nothing was too much trouble. She offered to check if my old whitening trays still fitted my teeth correctly. Following a 10 min check they still fitted. She talked through what I had to do. I am over the moon that I can whiten them safely, without the whole procedure cost. I am so grateful to her for her suggestions. Thank you so much
Fantastic service by absolutely everyone in the team. My 8 year old is very nervous and had an issue with his tooth. Laura was absolutely AMAZING with him, professional, calm, thorough and just an all round dream. The reception staff Suzanne, Emma and Helen are so helpful, polite, and warm. Just an all round delight. I am not keen on the dentist but these guys make it such a pleasant experience I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you Team.
Absolutely brilliant dental practice. The reception ladies were friendly & very helpful. Ruth was brilliant providing a lengthy examination, taking time to explain her findings and plan of action going forward. Simon carried out root canal treatment. He was fantastic. I was nervous but he made me feel completely at ease. He carried out the procedure which he made completely painless and I also never had any pain afterwards. All the dental nurses were lovely and friendly too. Definitely the best Dentist Practice
I have been a patient of this dental surgery for my whole life, and now I am fortunate enough to take my son there too. The team are amazing, always friendly and accommodating. My son was seen under the “kids club” by Jan, who was so gentle, patient, kind and informative- exactly what I hoped the experience would be for my son, and for myself as a first time mummy. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much!
The team at Cuckfield are simply the best, from the warm welcome as you arrive, from the reception staff to their farewell you always leave feeling you are important and cared for. Today I spent quite sometime in the chair, Dr Hala and Sophie were superb. The procedure I went through was a little complicated, made easier by their skill, care and attention to my well-being. I really appreciate the level of attention both afforded me, thank you! I thoroughly recommend this practice to the reader.
Highly recommend Cuckfield dental practice, very pleasant staff who we're very helpful and make you feel at ease. Simon, my dentist, explained all the treatments l needed and took time to advise me on what would be best for myself and explained all costs in detail. It's good to feel confident in the treatment you are receiving and having trust in your dentist is a great bonus. My wife has been using Cuckfield practice for a few years and also has nothing but praise.
Lovely experience! I bought my 6 year old son yesterday and Dr Lucy Walsh was very kind and put him at ease. Thorough examination for myself as usual and reception staff are very welcoming. Highly recommend
Ruth Bentley has been our family dentist for over 20 years and she has been the most wonderful, kind, caring and supportive dentist throughout that time. Growing up, my experiences at the dentist were overwhelmingly negative and as an adult I became anxious and nervous about attending dental appointments. From the first time we met, Ruth is extremely kind, caring, supportive and reassuring. She is always wonderful with all our children, from the youngest now 11 to the oldest nearly 24 and they all think the world of Ruth. Her knowledge and experience mean we trust her judgement unconditionally, and she has always treated any dental issues and concerns we have had with diligence and care. Ruth will always go above and beyond for all her patients and she will always ensure they receive the best care and treatment possible. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Ruth to anyone looking for a friendly, patient and professional dental surgeon. The support staff at Cuckfield Dental Practice have always been very kind and helpful and we are very happy with our care and patient experience at the practice.
Let’s face it , no one likes going to the dentist , but I cannot recommend Cuckfield Dental Practice highly enough! The whole team are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, professional and kind! Laura is amazing and her knowledge and skill is exemplary…. She is gentle when working on your teeth I had horrendous experience as a child at the dentist but hardly felt any pain at all. I’ve also seen Simon for a tooth extraction and he did an amazing job on a difficult tooth! There is a nice atmosphere at the surgery and they all take great pride in their work …. Emma and the team on reception always welcome you with a big smile and ask how you are doing which is very nice. Excellent customer service! I’ve seen the hygienist too and she also did a great job! I have highly recommended CDP to several of my friends and family. Hope my review helps you!
Only joined this practice a few weeks ago , thank you all for helping me to feel very welcome .. lots of help from Vicky and reception .answered all my questions .. lovely practice , everyone extremely friendly and professional. Many thanks
