Best kebab of my life. Maybe the man didn't wanna have a little chat, but that's fair game. Talking to people you don't know should be a crime. He made the food at a good pace, he wasn't rude in the slightest, and the mixed kebab???? Delectable. I would sell my left ovary for another.
I have been to the shop yesterday after the long tour around central London. It was the quietest restaurant in a busiest part of London Kings Cross. It also looked really nice from the outside. The guy on the picture was really really rude and his attitude against my friend was very upsetting and disgusting. PLEASE don’t deceive by the appearance from outside. If you had a good day, nice memories and exciting experience AVOID this place at any cost. And they do not except Cash which is very SUSPICIOUS AND DODGY. Looks like these guys into Money Laundering during Financial Recession
Im genuinely surprised by the negative reviews as my experience was not at all negative. I’ve tried the chicken donner kebab and wrap and both were very tasty. The chicken was succulent and flavourful, I asked for extra salad which the guys were generous with. The garlic sauce is a must try. I read someone said you can’t buy a meal without a drink but this wasn’t my experience on either occasions. I’d say the portions are rather generous especially if you go for the box options. Is this place going to blow your mind away? Well no because it’s a kebab, it is however tasty. Yes it’s probably a bit more costly than I’d usually pay but I’m also not from London. Service was friendly, I’d say the guy cutting the meat isn’t talkative but the one actually putting your food together is very friendly and accommodating.
The most disgusting burger that I ever tried, it’s full of cartilage and no flavour of meat, the texture was just off. The shop says halal but the way they don’t give people what they paid full price for is haram. It’s evident they don’t take pride in their food and they seem miserable and bothered when serving customers. Customer service is appalling and unwelcoming. The server is constantly talking in a foreign language in front of customers to his colleague which creates a perception of exclusivism. A total lack of etiquette and disregard is what I got served. One bite of their food and in the bin it went, worst decision i ever made when buying food, it ruined my night. I’d rather have eaten a vegetarian plant burger then what they call a cheese burger. Regardless of how the workers here behave at least their food should be good enough to enjoy which it isn’t. Shameful.
I live locally and it was my first time buying from this shop, just as others said in their reviews the staff are very unfriendly and unwelcoming but i continued to order as my son was hungry and it was late and needed to eat. What shocked me is that there is no option to buy your food without buying a drink, i explained that we didn't need a drink as we have one already and would like them to take the price of the drink off my bill as its not what i want and they said that its not an option. I have been to many chicken shops and I've never heard this before. They are expensive and they are Rip offs, will never go again. P.S i was able to pay by card.
Basically, in a simple way to put this, don’t come here for kebabs or doner. Please, you wouldn’t want to waste your money. You would rather buy a meal deal from Tesco and end up with a greater satisfaction. The guy was rude and not even responding to what I was saying. Firstly, the ‘adana kebab’ taking 20 mins to cook is ridiculous. Mate, are you a fast food place or a restaurant. Do I look like I am going to wait for 20 mins. Secondly the prices are so expensive compared to what they give and what you actually get. My friend asked for some salads and what she got was more paper than salad for her kebab. Thirdly, the quality of the food is not to a good standard. When I was eating the doner, the oil started pouring all over my clothes. No wonder oil prices are so expensive these days. Don’t make the same mistakes as I did. These people are also cheating by not trying to pay taxes via cash only payments. DONT GO THERE.
Like another shawarma place. Chicken was good but the chilly sauce on the top was weird. Every product has generous size of portion.
My wife and my daughter went to the O2 to watch Evanescence and on the way home they had a 20-minute wait for their train. Crystal Kebab - Kings Cross was the only place open so my wife brought 2 drinks - a coke and a bottle of water both £1.5 each - she didn't check the amount on the card reader and found she was charge £4 each - £8 for 2 drinks that should have cost £3! You have been warned - avoid this place as my wife or daughter did not drinking any alcohol so if you are drunk be careful as it could be the most expensive takeaway you've ever had.
Got back to the UK after 6 months away, craving a donner kebab wrap. Awful experience, tried to go in at opening after he had let me in and was shouted at after entering to go back out. Then the small chubby man and his perceived girlfriend start shouting at me to go away as I waited outside. Don't think I've received such poor service and lack of absolute humanity in all my 6 months in south America.
Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the level of service. The food was vile and overpriced, and the staff were incredibly rude. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and will not be returning in the future. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would give it a 1-star ratingFood: 1/5
