Friendly guy, good food, lovely coffee. Just a quick stop off whilst working and can't fault anything today really. Parking: First come, roadside parking on the street or bays at front of shop
I went to the crusty cottage for a bit of breakfast not really expecting much, and I was completely blown away with the prices & the quality/taste of the food along with the outstanding hospitality I was shown. I ended up getting a PSG sampork, stuffing and gravy, a small full English and a bottle of fresh orange juice. I asked for no mushrooms/tomato on the full English and in return they offered extra hash brown which was amazing. In total it came to just shy of £12. The food was cooked to perfection and the taste was sublime! They didn't rush me to order which allowed me to take in their extensive menu before deciding. If you're looking for a place to get a good, filling breakfast/lunch then I highly recommend the Crusty Cottage! Vegetarian options: They have a good few vegetarian options in the restaurant, and good portion sizes too. Dietary restrictions: They have an incredibly extensive menu, allowing for people to choose what they want/can have. Kid-friendliness: The staff in the Crusty Cottage are more than friendly and it's very clean and tidy. Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I remember there was no steps to get into the shop.
Ordered 4 pulled pork sandwiches. To which we all enjoyed, lots of pork, apple sauce would be a good extra, also real crusty bread not just thick loaf would be better bit in all very happyFood: 5/5
Worst experience ever. Slow and rude service, cold and tasteless food, and the place is filthy. The manager doesn't care at all. Seriously, avoid this place. Don’t waste your time or money. There are way better spots in town.Food: 1/5

Poor service didn't follow allergies and put cheese on the food what shouldn't have plus missed items, and then they ignored the phone an hour before they closed wouldn't order again...Food: 1/5
