Dropped in with my wife and 18 month old son to have his passport paperwork signed. Within 5 minutes we were assisted by the super helpful Garda Andrew Sullivan. In and out within 15 minutes. Very positive experience all round.
Walked to the station with an infant to get baby passport form signed by Garda. 15min or more waited at reception… rung the bell three times only heard officers laugh and talked behind the door. I have seen at least three of them looking at me… had to leave because the baby needed to be feed. I wouldn’t expect to be ignored for that length of the time with a baby at the Garda station…..
7 arresting officers were friendly enough, the cuffs weren't too tight, unfortunately it was a bit tight in the back of the meat wagon, the room was basic enough no décor just black marker drawings and autographs from previous guests and mattress was comfortable and the Bobby Sands blanket was warm too, the staff were very friendly as well unfortunately I couldn't answer any of their questions as I didn't want incriminate myself, the checkout time was about 4.30am and unfortunately there was no taxi services to drop me home to Drimnagh other than that it was a very relaxing stay DEFINITELY will be back, there wasn't a food menu available but there is large local cuisine to choose from if you decide to dine out.
Great staff there, wanted to give it 5, but new big wig upstairs, not great, can only give it 3.
