The venue is very nice and staff very welcoming, attentive but not intrusive. The dinner was good and the dessert was even better. I would say 4* for dinner and 5* for everything else.
We had dinner here last night. Couldn't ask for.more attentive service by our lovely waiter. The food was truly beautiful...and l admit lm a hard critic. The haggis chicken was beautiful, moist and peppery.. actually the best l've had... ever. Thoroughly recommend it
Well worth a visit if in Dumfries. Great service. Generous portions, good selection on menu. The cabbage n bacon and the tangy challots were scrumptious as part of beef short rib.

Crab & prawn Pasta is pretty good. Pork rib is too tough and dry. Waitress did not ask us how's the food. Anyway quite an enjoyable meal ~
