A Lovely friendly pub with a lovely log fire, the staff are very welcoming. Great choice of real ales and the pie was quite franking the best steak and ale pie I've ever had. It's 5 stars from us. Thank you so much James and Heather.
So warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed a chat with the host and some locals. Well kept Three Tuns XXX pale ale, and a gorgeous tidy beer garden with fantastic views. We didn’t eat as we’d just finished a walk on a Saturday afternoon, but look forward to returning to eat. Spotless loos too. Great stop over on the Adstone walk
I had the best night for a long time and as soon as the rooms are ready. I am staying! The hosts were amazing, accommodating as well as friendly. I couldn't stop laughing! In the words of the Terminator - " I'll be back"Service: 5/5
Excellent service and food. The pie's are very very good. The lady who served us was extremely helpful and pleasant. We'll worth a visit. Food & drinks: Well cooked good portions.
Rural English pub the way it should be. Pleasingly calm country pub atmosphere. And in a beautiful and lesser known corner of england. Friendly staff. Good beers. Simple food. Plenty of local farmers in there having a drink. Dog friendly. Brief visit but worth it as a stop after walking the Long Mynd.
Lovely food and very pleasant landlady but service was rather slow. More staff needed.Service: 3/5
Brilliant pub, amazing and lovely staff. A good variety of drinks including a lot of gin! Would happily drink here every day. Also the fish and chips was superb.Service: 5/5
Excellent and tasty food, with enough to take home too. Dessert awesome! I would have preferred a salad on the side, rather than in with the hot food. Really pleased to find Robinson's cider on tap.
After a nice long walk, we decided to head for some food. Having not been here for sometime, I was relieved to see they had space at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. The Crown had clearly switched hands and with the national locks downs we were apprehensive to see what we could get. The menu was limited this is understandable considering the circumstances we settled on the sandwiches with a side of cheesy chips. Needless to say the food was amazing! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will be returning to try more delicious food! Keep up the good work!
Ideally situated for a pint after a walk in lanes and hills. Didn't try the food but ales are just what you need after walking and a very well kept beer garden.Service: 4/5
