No app and this is very expensive for 3+ hours and has a maximum of 5 hours. I often visit Ipswich for 5+ hours to meet friends, go to cinema, etc. And there are stairs and a busy road to cross before getting to the town centre - there are more convenient ones cheaper for the whole day. On the plus side its relatively secure and you don't pay until you get back.
Having paid over £6 for parking, I got to the barrier and it asked me for a further £1.60. The number on the barrier took me to an emergency response center, then they texted me the number to phone for car park services, phoned ina queue for 5 min then the system said no one to take your call and hung up. Called first number again, they radioed someone to come to barrier, it was 25 min to exit the car park. I thought it was illegal to obstruct someone's exit for no reason. This whole setup was frustrating and not thinking from the users view point. Terrible....
Ignore Google's opening hours, they're wrong and won't accept my edit for some reason. It's open til half 11 every night, see the council website for details.
Patk here as its very near to town it was free for disabled badge people 3hrs but from April 25 we all have to pay now weva have badge or not
Nice new car park. Close to town and a very good price at just £1 per hour.
