A big thank you! I popped into Cross Street Garage on Thursday 24 November 2022 with an on the spot tyre pressure warning. A very helpful mechanic, didn't get his name, was happy to assist straight away. He checked all the tyres and topped them up and reassured me that the car was good to continue on to my hospital appointment, also advising me what may have caused the warning to display, eg the weather temperature changing. Had the misfortune of suffering a breakdown in my trusty old car the other day whilst in rush hour traffic on the M60. Luckily I had RAC cover.  The RAC recovered my car to one of their approved garages, of which Cross Street Garage is one and am I glad they did!.  Matt who runs the garage is very friendly and despite being closed met the recovery truck and me!. Despite his busy workload, the very next morning he was quick to telephone me and confirm the RAC diagnostic. After agreeing a price, replacement parts were ordered and in less than 24hrs of breaking down my car was back on the road!  On collecting my car I was shown the faulty components and provided with a full invoice, which was pleasing to see. Car broke down yesterday morning, water spitting everywhere and car overheating. RAC confirmed a leak but couldn't find the source. My regular garage couldn't see me for a week and RAC recommended Cross Street. What a find! Matt assured me he'd do his best to have my business vehicle back on the road asap. Took the vehicle in there and then,  I nearly fainted!. Diagnosed the problem that afternoon keeping me informed of all the issues discovered. Received car back at noon today fully repaired and for a realistic price considering the labour involved. That's what I call customer service. You have a new customer gentlemen and thank you again! My car recently broke down and stopped starting, and after calling the RAC they recommended this garage. After reading reviews I felt they had a good rating and should be able to fix the issue.  After the RAC had dropped the car off and waiting a few hours I contacted the garage and was informed that the internals of the car were very dirty. This may have led to the issue, which I accepted as the car is from 2005, although I do get it serviced.  The  next time I spoke to the garage I was told that the issue could be wiring that had erroded under the car. To fix this it would cost £225 including diagnosis cost and it may still not fully correct the problem. I understood this and went ahead, and the car still failed to start.  After towing the car home I sent it to my trusted mechanic in Rochdale. Within a few hours I was told that the fuel pump had stopped working and needed replacing. I proceeded to get this fixed and now the car is back to normal.  I don't usually leave reviews but I cannot recommend this garage for fault finding. It feels like they have limited knowledge and I wish I had the car towed to my trusted garage to begin with. This should have been a straightforward diagnoses which they missed.Service:&nbsp;Electrical repair
