I go to this hall to give blood every now and then. Its a lovely spacious building. Very pleasant in side. There is plenty of parking around the building and it is conveniently situated for access to the centre of town
Great evening had by all. Thanks to my dear friend Mayor John Ray for organising the event. Met up with many old friends. Remember the discos at the hall 40 years ago.
This hall is very adaptable. It is very light and bright. There is a stage and sufficient chairs for about 200 people.
Update 2024 May.nIt's sad to think that this wonderful resource, a gift to Romsey, may shortly be no more. But until it's destroyed it remains an asset to our town and a popular venue for a wide variety of events. One big hall with a raised stage at one end, dressing rooms too. Then another meeting/rehearsal room that can be opened up to the kitchen area, or closed and I think maybe made into two rooms.nClean toilets, kitchen area, plenty of parking, disabled access, bike area, all within walking distance of the centre of town. A venue, I for one will miss.nnCrosfield is a great space. I go in to give blood, Christmas markets, rehearsal space and for each and every thing it works well. It has various rooms to hire but I like the main large hall the best. As you enter through double doors it has a stage at the far end, and a good sized state at that. The lighting is good and the hall large enough for the biggest wedding. Furniture is comfortable and stacks away easily. All in all an asset to Romsey.
Clean, tidy & fit for purpose. We used a room with the kitchen, as beverages were provided. Part way through, we needed a board, which was quickly found for us. Our course finished at 12.00 but over ran by about twenty minutes, which meant someone came to remind us at five past, that we finished at 12.
