Story

Our Award Winning Farm Shop offers a range of home-produced and local food – fresh fruit and vegetables, locally produced beef, lamb, poultry and free range pork, our Award Winning shop made sausage, pies and quiches, free range eggs, freshly baked bread, home made cakes, organic produce and local ice cream as well as over twenty locally produced bottle beers. Sample our delicious products in the Shires Eatery, or purchase to take with you and enjoy at home.

Set in an idyllic farmyard setting, there is ample free car parking and you can also meet some of the Shire Horses who live on the farm.

Great farm shop. It has ample parking, a child's play area and a cafe. The butcher only stocks quality neat and takes a lot of pride in preparing cuts. They do gift baskets which are great for your fellow foodie.

A great place for top notch locally produced meat,artisan food and drink. After a browse and shop,it's well worth a stop off in the café serving brilliant breakfasts, luscious lunches and even super Sunday lunches. Highly recommended.

Fantastic choice of quality meat; sausages are amazing! Our boys love to have a quick play on their playground (with vintage tractor), so, never an issue if we say ‘we’re calling at Croots’. The family meat packs are good value.

Popped in for a tasty Full English breakfast and a look around the food and produce department. Breakfast was reasonably priced but brilliantly tasty and fresh. Highly recommended.

Rather disappointing breakfast. We had ordered the healthy breakfast but were served with the Croots breakfast. Although they replaced this with what we ordered we were very disappointed as it was not hot but by this time we were in too much of a hurry to send a second breakfast back. My husband enjoyed his breakfast roll but I don't think we will be in a rush to return. The coffee wasn't hot enough either. Altogether a disappointment and waste of £30.
