I ordered a roast dinner with gammon and cranberry sauce as soon as I arrived and it took over an hour for my food to arrive, even after others had already been served and given their food, although they had arrived after myself. The meal itself was not enjoyable, all the veg was raw and definitely from frozen, the Yorkshire puddings were not Yorkshire puddings but rather soggy thick pancakes of dough. The only good thing was the meat, the gammon was really tasty and just perfect, but even that was spoiled since I got not even three tablespoons of gravy to make it slightly easier to swallow such a dry plate of food, not only that but I was given mustard instead of cranberry sauce. Not impressed at all. The same applies to the other people I was with that also ordered food, they all agree and share the same opinions.

Good food when it arrives. Wanted a sweet, but couldn't find anybody who wanted to take my order. Told the manager when I paid my bill, but she wasn't really interested.

Come here a lot. Never had a bad meal. Its cheap pub food but it's nicely done. Good value but don't expect too much.

Much better than the Marston new place ..The Station Pilot. Food good and staff on the ball without going over the top.

Bad service , bad food. Bad resolution. Father's 65th birthday booking for 16. Ordered 3 X 10 Oz rump steaks medium. This is what was served to us, a minute steak so over cooked it was like rubber. Confronted the manager who tried to advise to me ( a chef) that they were rump. Overall rating of this place has dropped considerably, not worth the money for the food.
